Thanks much, Jean!

This is more of the loony rationale to try to twist the dynamics of what actually happened on Jan 6th.

Blaming it on sources OTHER than those that caused it.

To celebrate the anniversary of Jan 6, 2021, Tucker went into his delusional Ray Epps and the FBI caused the Insurrection screed again.

According to him it wasn't Donald Trump that caused the Insurrection,  it was this guy, Ray Epps that was  planted in the crowd by the FBI and convinced the crowd to break into the building.

I watch different stations to hear different views.

People that don't watch Fox may not be aware of this loony conspiracy theory or believe that somebody would actually broadcast such a retarded thing repeatedly and have millions of people convinced this happened.

If there ever was proof that people's critical thinking and intelligence can be stolen away by charismatic or convincing sounding political commentators...........this is it!

TUCKER CARLSON: Lies about January 6 have enabled unscrupulous people to make a mockery of our Bill of Rights

Tucker reflects on the many unanswered questions from the Jan. 6 Capitol riot

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/tucker-carlson-lies-january-6-enabled-unscrupulous-people-mockery-bill-of-rights

Keep in mind, Ray Epps is one of the only people caught on camera that day encouraging others to break the law. He's one of the only ones and yet he's never been charged and the January 6 Committee was on his side.

Did he talk about January 6 before it happened with any employee of the U.S. government? We don't know. We do know that two years after January 6, long after an awful lot of other people have gone to jail for walking around the Capitol building, Ray Epps is still a free man. He's never been charged, much less imprisoned in solitary confinement like so many others. Why is that?

Well, let's just stop lying. At this point, it's pretty obvious why that is. But of course, they're still lying about it.

Outrageous': Capitol Police Chief Condemns Tucker Carlson's Claims Jan. 6 Was ‘Mostly Peaceful'

Police Chief Tom Manger also addressed a specific claim by Carlson that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick’s death had nothing to do with the attack on the Capitol

https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/outrageous-and-false-capitol-police-chief-condemns-tucker-carlsons-remarks-that-jan-6-was-mostly-peaceful/3294901/

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer also condemned Carlson's comments Tuesday, saying, "Last night millions of Americans tuned into one of the most shameful hours we have ever seen on cable television."

Later in the day, Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said: "With regard to the presentation on Fox News last night, I want to associate myself entirely with the opinion of the Chief of the Capitol police about what happened on January 6."

++++++++++++++++++++++

Tucker should be fired immediately for such an outrageous/blatant,  intentional and very dangerous violation of the truth in describing the worst attack on our Constitution in history as "peaceful" to brainwash his viewers and for ratings, telling them what they want to believe and suggesting it was actually all set up by the FBI to frame President Trump........who was innocent of any wrong doing.

This is way over the top and beyond freedom of the press rights protection because, literally, 10s of millions of viewers(captured brains) believe everything that he says.

Tonight on his show, he is arrogantly gloating and manically bragging over the attention that he's getting for being television's biggest piece of crap in broadcast history.

However, the way that Fox in the evening gets ratings, he is more likely to demand a pay raise for boosting his ratings than to be held accountable.

Indisputable, 100% proven fact: President Trump spent 2 months convincing tens of millions of Rs that he won the election but it was stolen from him. He did countless unethical things, including likely illegal activities in trying to overturn the election. He fired up his extreme base to come out on Jan. 6th to try to stop the Constitutional process that would certify Joe Biden as the new president.

It was these people that rioted and broke into the building with the approval of Trump, who told them they had to fight for our country and desribed them, as recently as this month on CNN as  "with love in their hearts and it being a beautiful day"

https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/95127/#95143

There is no other way to see this or other people to blame. It couldn't be more clear.

R sources telling us otherwise are full of crap and get attention because its exactly what Rs want to hear. 10's of millions of Rs keep believing this because they intentionally go to sources that tell them that.........and the sources know they can get Rs to tune in by saying this crapola.

I don't expect anybody to go thru all those threads but I remember most of it and I know with certainty, that every BS republican claim about the election and Insurrection was completely debunked multiple times. Some as many as 15+ times here because I was doing the debunking.

But it never mattered and still doesn't matter to those that support  Donald Trump.

The far R sources keep sending out the same messaging to keep their flock believing in it because that false election steal, Insurrection caused by others narrative (and it was intentionally caused to blame and get Trump) gives the far R the most uniting traction.

Claiming that there were undercover FBI agents in the crowd,  that could have or should have stopped the rioting if they wanted to is nonsense. Just like claiming that Trump asked for thousands of National Guards troops but Nancy Pelosi called them off because she wanted the riot to happen to get Trump in trouble.

It would be a rational discussion to ask why there wasn't more security/cops(that makes more sense than to blame undercover FBI agents for not doing the job of cops........and much of that blame falls on Trump, who even called off the metal detector devices, stating "they aren't here to hurt me".

This topic will come up again numerous times on MarketForum, regardless of how many times it gets  debunked and I will just use this thread as the reference.

I totally understand why it keeps coming up too because I watch Fox and other sources selling this snake oil to their loyal viewers.

I'm very happy to do my part in busting another conspiracy theory/DISinformation/junk science, propaganda and false narrative. .......it's a big reason for me to be here!

Trump and His Allies Must Be Held Accountable for the January 6 Insurrection

Without full accountability for the events surrounding the unconstitutional plot to overturn the 2020 presidential election, U.S. democracy remains under substantial threat.

https://www.americanprogress.org/article/trump-and-his-allies-must-be-held-accountable-for-the-january-6-insurrection/

The committee, whose work was conducted in part by nonpartisan former prosecutors, carefully laid out Trump’s plot, which “recklessly blazed a path of lawlessness and corruption.”6 Over the course of nine public hearings, the committee focused on the following key elements:

  • Even though Trump and his allies knew that he had lost the valid election, they engaged in a massive effort—sometimes called the “big lie”—to spread disinformation to convince the American people that the election was rigged, even as multiple judges nationwide rejected Trump’s challenges to the legitimate results.7
  • Trump, advised by attorneys Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, and several others, waged a relentless pressure campaign to try to persuade Vice President Mike Pence to unconstitutionally refuse to both count the valid electoral votes on January 6 and peacefully begin the transfer of power to Joe Biden.8
  • Trump corruptly pressured and threatened legislators and election officials in battleground states to change valid election results, placing many of their lives at risk. He and his top allies also instructed Republican officials in those states to create false electoral slates to certify Trump won the states’ electoral votes.9
  • Trump attempted to replace U.S. Attorney General William Barr with Jeffrey Clark, who was sympathetic to Trump, and to weaponize the U.S. Department of Justice to spread his false claims that the election had been stolen.10
  • Trump summoned a violent mob, including white supremacist groups, to Washington, D.C., on January 6 and then brazenly directed them to march on the U.S. Capitol after his election lies further enflamed them.11
  • When the mob caused deadly violence at the Capitol, Trump deliberately chose not to call it off, despite repeated pleas from top officials, directly risking the lives of members of Congress, Capitol Police officers, Pence, and many others and disrupting the time-honored step toward a peaceful transition of power.12
  • Many members of Congress were involved in the conspiracy and later thwarted the January 6th Committee’s legitimate investigation, even defying lawful committee subpoenas. Multiple members of the House sought presidential pardons for their roles in Trump’s sprawling scheme.13

60 MINUTES - NEWSMAKERS Ray Epps, a Jan. 6 protester now at the center of a far-right conspiracy, says he relives the Capitol riot every day

"Tom Joscelyn is a researcher and author, one of the country's top terrorism experts …  tapped by the January 6th Committee to help write its final report, which found evidence far-right extremists like the Proud Boys planned and executed the breach of the Capitol. Thanks , Jean!

Some of them are and some of them aren't. The trick is to have the evidence/facts and objectively applying them to tell which are conspiracy theories and which of them are not.

It's extremely absurd that people would even entertain the possibility of the Ray Epps hogwash.

The records show that Epps had no connection with the Feds but was instead a former member of The Oath Keepers with a leadership position. Not exactly Fed material to begin with but certainly Trump cult material, like most of those that came from around the country  on Jan. 6 2021 to try to stop Biden from being certified based almost entirely on Trump's false narratives and encouragement  for the previous 2 months.

This conspiracy theory, would have us believe that the crowd below, some estimate as many as 120,000 that day, with at least 15,000(at least 1,000 of which, violently broke into the building to try to stop Biden from being certified as president with possibly as many as 2,000 in the building) were impacted by Ray Epps egging them on to go to the building.

1 person in the crowd below like Ray Epps (which only represents SOME of them) is just a tiny spec.  Claiming that Ray Epps played a key role because he was shouting, just like many thousands of others shouting is delusional. He had no megaphone, so his voice could only be heard by those closest to him which would be an extremely miniscule fraction of the crown.......maybe a couple dozen at the most.
The Ray Epps conspiracy theory has us believe that people around him were there to protest peacefully but his shouting incited them to riot And that he was an undercover Fed agent, there to incite peaceful Trump supporters  to riot in order to get Trump in trouble…..even though Trump wanted his people to remain peaceful.

This one is as loony as they come And  is so effective because of what people WANT to believe.

Which is that Trump didn’t do anything wrong and it was the Feds that incited the riot.

When people really WANT to believe something, almost  no amount of profoundly overwhelming evidence contradicting it will change that. Their brain interprets the truth as a Lie.  Their brains have been taught to believe a lie is the truth. Their brains are unable to recognize  things which contradict how their brains define the truth because those things are  automatically rejected based on their brains previously  framed realities. Most of the time, once  that brain has been taught to believe in something, especially if its a tenant of a belief system …you can bombard that person with authentic contradicting facts to kingdom come but it’s a waste of time!
+++++++++

Poor Epps had his life destroyed by his own far right people! How ironic Turning on him for standing up for their cause.

And we’re to believe that the Feds protected him because he was actually one of them.
The funny thing is that if he had actually gone into the building, instead of just shouted encouragement for others to do it like thousands of people there that day (maybe less than 1 in 100 actually went into the building?) he would have been charged like the 1,000 others that broke into the building and the far right would not be making up the absurd story about him being a Fed.

Thanks for not taking it personal, Jean.

When I go into one of my extremely long "epistles" as Alex would refer to them, I sometimes don't even know it's going to turn out that way and I apologize for using verbiage like delusional, which is meant in a general sense, not attacking you, personally, even though I could see why it could be taken that way.

We have a great relationship and understanding so that helps.

The last post to you was going to be a brief "people believe what they want to believe"then go on. I happened to stumble on the image posted on that point and thought "Ray Epps was in that massive crowd of tens of thousands,  and how does one get the idea that he is to blame for inciting the riot?"

Anyway if you and I were emailing each other with the same conversation,  I wouldn't even confront you on it. There's absolutely no point because I described exactly why people never change their minds on stuff like this. It's extraordinarily rare when that happens. If you told me about Ray Epps via email, I would tread lightly with the challenge because the response would be to YOU, JEAN. Not on a forum to everybody.  It's probably the quickest way to damaging a personal relationship with family and friends.

https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/77011/#77995

That said, as mentioned, I actually go thru a vigorous fact checking of myself and am extraordinarily analytical.......my wife always tells me TOO analytical. Anally analytical and get carried away. This is how my mind is working 24 hours a day, whether sharing it or not here.

This has led me to suddenly discovering tons of things that I  didn't understand completely before. ......."eureka!!" moments.

It's actually the exact same mindset that every successful trader needs to have!

At MarketForum, one of my objectives is to generously share this and what I discover as a result.  We have alot of readers that don't post.  When I'm doing this, it's with them in mind. In fact, I've learned more the past 4 years than the past 24 years because I want to learn and share things that I would never consider.

I'm dead serious that one of the biggest motivating factors here for me is similar to when a person is donating during a money raising telethon and the telethon host states that all pledges will be matched/doubled.........and people donate because their money is doubled.

When I share stuff that I just learned or for others to learn(you noted my frequent use of Wikipedia yesterday) to share it, it's massively multiplying my donation to stored knowledge/enlightenment.

https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/38309/#95331

While doing this for the previous post, I knew it would make 0 difference to the minds of readers who have already decided what to believe..........so the real ADDED contribution with the most value was the ANALYSIS for why people almost never change their minds.

This is what matters the most in this discussion. For people to understand why they and others never change their minds because that principle applies to every topic, every day of their life..... not just Ray Epps, which will come and go quickly.

Here it is again:

When people really WANT to believe something, almost  no amount of profoundly overwhelming evidence contradicting it will change that. Their brain interprets the truth as a Lie.  Their brains have been taught to believe a lie is the truth. Their brains are unable to recognize  things which contradict how their brains define the truth Because those things are  automatically rejected based on their brains previously  framed realities. Most of the time, once  that brain has been taught to believe in something, especially if its a tenant of a belief system …you can bombard that person with authentic contradicting facts to kingdom come but it’s a waste of time!

Thanks , Jean.

on that article, wow!

that could have been me writing it!

In the past 3 years, I’ve learned so much and also changed some views. One of those areas relates to this opinion.
It was just an acceleration of a process that had been already taking place.

I prefer to minimize discussions about religion here because they are so intensely personal and based almost entirely on faith.

Faith in something that can’t be proven, like with science and most of fact based politics.

I also don’t want to impose my personal views on God or atheism on,others or alienate others that disagree  because their views are different.

i went To Catholic school for 12 years and actually taught religious Ed in our church for around  12 years As a volunteer.

Interesting how much more you can learn when you WANT to be there.

I have often told people that Ive studied all the religions and after years of learning and praying over it…..finally know with cetainty which 1 religion is the only true religion.

Answer?

whatever religion you belong to/believe in which in most cases, is the one that you were taught to beloieve in growing up!w

I was given the impression growing up that the Catholic faith is the only true religion. In my senior year, we had a semester covering other religions that was pretty objective but I wasnt in a learning mode.

Anyways, we have numerous Christians from different faiths here at MarketForum as well as 2  regular posters that are Jewish. …more that read no doubt. I’ve known numerous Jews and Muslims as friends as well as the majority Christians and a growing number of atheists. And of course large numbers of agnostics.

jean, it’s obvious how important your faith is to you.

as a scientist, I’ve spent a zillion hours contemplating our existence and the miracles of its origins and complexities  of life that truly exhibit an intelligent design.

this Is a topic that could take 1,O00 more pages. Glad you brought it up.

The Social Consequences of Political Anger

http://stevenwwebster.com/research/social.pdf

A functioning democracy relies on social interactions between people who disagree—including
listening to others’ viewpoints, having political discussions, and finding political compromise.
Yet, social life in the contemporary United States is characterized by a relative lack of inter-
action between Democrats and Republicans (or, social polarization). We argue that political
anger contributes to social polarization by causing Americans to cut off ties with opposing par-
tisans. We first draw on data from the American National Election Studies and the Wesleyan
Media Project to show that the mass public is increasingly angry and that politicians often seek
to elicit anger. We then present results from a survey experiment on nearly 3,500 Americans,
finding that the exogenous introduction of anger leads partisans to socially polarize across a
range of settings. Our findings suggest that increasing levels of political anger paralyze politics
and harm democracy by influencing Americans’ social interactions and relationships

Conclusion & Implications
Anger oftentimes causes individuals to take an action or set of actions against that which made
them angry (Allred, 1999). While the set of actions one takes while angry is often related to the
domain of that which made them angry, the results of this study indicate that political anger has
consequences that extend beyond the political realm. Indeed, our results show that the retaliatory
measures that one seeks to take when experiencing politically-induced anger go beyond politically-
related actions. As we have shown, political anger has the ability to affect social interactions
between Democrats and Republicans, driving social polarization to extend beyond what already
exists.
An important aspect of these results is that they persist across a range of social settings. Politi-
cal anger causes Democrats and Republicans to socially distance themselves from out-partisans in
both “easy” and “hard” cases. Accordingly, we see that anger increases social polarization when it
pertains to items like doing favors for a neighbor or talking about politics with a friend; we also see
that anger exacerbates social polarization on issues such as ending a close friendship or distancing
one’s self from a close family member that supports the opposing political party. Anger, then,
plays a broad role in shaping the amount of social polarization that we see between Democrats and
Republicans in the contemporary American electorate.
As we have shown, these results are likely a true reflection of partisans’ attitudes and in-
tended behavior. Though our results are derived from stated behavioral intentions and not ob-
served actions, we are confident that our results are not an artifact of strategic answering by sur-
vey respondents. Such confidence stems from, among other suggestive findings, a re-analysis of
27our experimental results according to an individual’s level of self-monitoring. Because low self-
monitors—that is, those who are most likely to be truthful when answering survey prompts—offer
similar behavioral intentions as those who score high on self-monitoring, our treatment effects
likely represent the true effect of anger on social polarization. It is also important to note that
our findings demonstrate the effect of anger on social polarization above and beyond the extreme
social polarization that already exists (see, e.g., Iyengar and Westwood, 2015).
These findings suggest that American democracy may be in a worrying state. If heterogeneous
discussion networks are a staple of democracy, as Mutz (2002, 2006) argues, then the anger-fueled
nature of contemporary American politics has done much to weaken an important aspect of the
political system. Should politicians continue to elicit anger among voters, it is likely that social
polarization in the United States will increase. This social polarization, in turn, facilitates more
opportunities for Americans to stereotype and “de-humanize” supporters of the opposing political
party (see, e.g., Martherus et al., 2019; Cassese, 2021). Thus, the social consequences of political
anger are severe.
Our findings also speak to a related, and broader, point about the study of political antipathy in
the United States. Partisans’ views of each other are typically examined through the lens of social
identity theory (see, e.g., Mason, 2018; Iyengar, Sood and Lelkes, 2012), a theoretical approach
which requires both “in-group favoritism and discrimination against the out-group” (Tajfel and
Turner, 1979). However, studies from this perspective are not always able to adjudicate between in-
group love and out-group animosity as the driving factor behind the growth of affective polarization
in the United States. Though we do not doubt that behavior might be guided by in-party affection in
some instances, our results suggest that the latter mechanism is a key determinant of polarization—
particularly when it is explicitly primed by eliciting out-group anger. Thus, our findings support
the idea that American political behavior and the development of affective and social polarization
are governed by negative affective evaluations of the out-group (Abramowitz and Webster, 2016).
Our research also has the potential to inspire future work on emotions in politics outside of po-
28litical anger. Although we note that anger in particular should drive social polarization because of
its negative valence and action-oriented nature, future work could more explicitly examine the role
of other negatively-valenced emotions in producing social polarization. Our method of testing the
effect of political anger on social polarization could be used to do so. In particular, we recommend
pairing our emotional recall task with an instrumental variables approach in order to answer these
questions. By doing this, scholars will be able to better isolate the effect of discrete emotions on
social polarization.
Nevertheless, plenty of opportunities remain for future work on the relationship between anger
and social polarization. One area of research that promises to be fruitful is examining the ways
in which the deleterious effects of anger can be mitigated. For instance, does the existence of
cross-cutting identities (Mason, 2016) weaken the effect of anger on social polarization? On the
other hand, future research should also consider the factors that strengthen the relationship between
anger and social polarization. Potential compounding factors include the consumption of biased
media sources or high levels of political interest. Lastly, future work should consider the duration
of these effects. Does political anger lead to durable social polarization, or is such polarization
more ephemeral in nature? With anger and partisan antipathy on the rise, understanding these
questions could not be more pressing.

title of this thread is jan 6th saga. And a saga its been. Seems rather obvious we can now place blame where it belongs. Not to lesson any harm that was done or damage but can we admit now the real birth of this fiasco was way back in 2015. The doj, fbi and cia have tried to ruin one person before he was a candidate while he was a candidate and then during his Presidency, That one man has plenty of warts but who does not. Our very own deep state is the root cause of Jan 6th.

Angry Politicians Make Angry Voters

Politicians may have good reason to turn to angry rhetoric, according to research led by political scientists from Colorado–the strategy seems to work, at least in the short term.

https://neurosciencenews.com/anger-politics-voting-18951/

"According to the Pew Research Center, in the lead up to the 2020 presidential election, “around nine-in-ten Trump and Biden supporters said there would be ‘lasting harm’ to the nation if the other candidate won.” That anger boiled over with deadly results when a mob of supporters of then-President Trump stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6."

“We report being angrier after seeing our fellow partisans being angry,” Stapleton said. “When the other side is angry, it doesn’t seem to affect us much at all.”

If Democrats read about a fellow Democrat getting mad, for example, they often reported feeling angry themselves. In contrast, blue voters who encountered neutral information or saw an angry quote from a Republican didn’t experience the same swings in emotion."

++++++++++++

Politicians using anger to exploit tribalism! Here's 3 of the worst offenders. Targeting Rs, that are the victims of their intelligence stealing schemes. Having temper tantrums and bullying others to intentionally create outrage and support/votes  for themselves using the psychology of tribalism.......with false narratives/rhetoric repeated with anger!

Thanks Jean,

The truth has already been conclusively established about Ray Epps.

These people have convincing sounding blatant nonsense  to confuse people into ignoring all the conclusive, objective evidence about Ray Epps, BECAUSE PEOPLE WANT TO BELIEVE what he's saying.

This guy is a major league charlatan saying things that people want to believe.

Tens of millions of Americans still believe that Trump should have won. The Ray Epps conspiracy theory is just another example of people believing in it because THEY WANT TO believe in it.........no matter if there is 10 times more authentic information for them to NOT believe in it.

Poll: 61% of Republicans still believe Biden didn’t win fair and square in 2020

Six-in-10 Republicans continue to believe that Biden didn’t win the 2020 election legitimately, a new Monmouth poll shows.

There still has never been a shred of legit information to show that Ray Epps was who they claim and there to do what they claim.

Think about how retarded the idea is to begin with.

1 guy, acting like all the others in a crowd of tens of thousands (who didn't even get close to going in) somehow had this enormous power because he was a secret agent of the government trying to incite the riot in order to blame it on Trump.

And we are to believe there were dozens of other "Ray Epps" in the crowd causing this...........while Trumps daily, emphatic messaging to these people that the election was stolen was not the real reason.

Many tens of thousands of Rs came out there from around the country  on Jan 6th to peacefully protest but the FBI planted some secret agents in the crowd with special  mind controlling powers that convinced them to riot and break into the building.

Does that make sense to you?

pretend that you hadnt already decided that’s what happened and ask if that makes sense Because that’s the Ray Epps belief system.

retarded? what dem would ever try something so shallow? Well John Soloman just found a sweet video of Pelosi. Remember the stories about how AOC claims she was petrified and scared for her life...in fact nearly killed or wounded, wh0 knows. But then we found she was not even on the capitol grounds. Not that she would use the riot for political ammo....never. Well seems Pelosi got all jealous of the media attention AOC got and tried to claim the same. well that is until Soloman found the video of her royalness walking calmly out of the capitol with her 2 daughters walking next to her taking videos of Nancy saving democracy and risking her life to do it....so she says. Seems the Jab 6th committee kind of forgot to include that in the report along with more stuff that will finally see the light of day in inches per year.

mcfarm,

You and tens of millions of other far right Rs are victims here. I get that but NOT from the sources that YOU think.

You are the victims of the sources telling you things that you want to believe about Jan 6th and Ray Epps.

Victims of Donald Trump's lies.

I tell you this as a friend NOT an adversary.

Sure the FBI and CIA are rotten and the MSM dishonest but YOUR sources are using that to bamboozle you to believe absurd things and blaming that on those sources.

The biggest difference between you and me is that you believe EVERYTHING your far right sources tell you.

I can usually tell when they are telling the truth(and the other side is lying) and when they are the ones lying.

I'm very happy that you guys can bring this up here to have it fact checked because an indisputable law of human nature is:

1. People will fact check the heck out of  everything they don't want to believe in order to find reasons to not believe it.

2. People always give things they want to believe in a free pass and sources that tell them what they want to believe a free pass.

That's how it is...........a golden rule that applies across the board to the vast majority of people. The farther right/left they are,  the more impossible to defy that.

The very person right square in the middle of the past several years destruction of the American constitution {along with Obama and Hillary of course} still has not one clue as to what he has done.  He has no clue he is the menace. He has no clue of who or why his allegiance is to the constitution. And yet you continue to wonder why Trump is the way he is. Even in one of your last posts you claim Trump still thinks he won. Well duh, why would he not think that. And nearly weekly more info comes. Yes even more damaging info on just how far Comey. clapper, brennan among many others would go, including layers of the now hopelessly politicized intelligence apparatus. And as you listen to the snake Comey in this interview and his silly rationalization remember what he has done to this country. And yet neither he nor the brain dead interviewer will ever get it. You don't find it quite hysterically odd the they sit there and accuse Trump to maybe some day some how, some way, try to do the very evil things they have already done and nearly succeeded in doing. Turning us into Venezuela.

Thanks, mcfarm. Comey is a blatantly corrupt, diabolical/conniving scoundral. We can agree on that indisputable fact, mcfarm.

refreshing admission. Great to hear. Now just how long is the list of Blatantly corrupt people are in the intelligence services. Long list, real long. So Hill starts it all including one if her closest confidants coming up with the particularly nasty P tape episode in the Russian hotel. She and hers gladly meet with Obama and his and boom here we go. Next comes the cia, fbi, the major media. Again I remind you of estimates of upward of 15% of the last presidential vote changed with the Biden debate lie and those 51 turn coats who lied and signed off claiming "disinformation" . And more yet comes. put your self in Trumps shoes. Walk 1/2 block in them. Yes we have a mess. And where are the consequences the common man asks and asks.

"put your self in Trumps shoes"

Thanks, mcfarm!

But I do it all the time here. And provide the objective view for you as your friend.

Instead, you make the choice of being a victim.........of Donald Trump who tells you what you want to hear.

With regards to the right way to win in my book:

1. Tell the truth almost all the time. Trump lies most of the time and 10+ times more than 2nd place.

2. Have transparency. Trump is totally lacking in transparency.

3. Have great agenda and most importantly with a reasonable strategy to accomplish objectives. For instance, Trump telling us that he would end the war in 24 hours sounds great to somebody like me that wants the war to end and loves to hear that.........but I also have a brain that knows this is just Trump embellishing/bragging astronomically because he's  afflicted with a severe clinical case of grandiosity.

https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/95084/#95119

4. Recognize the foundation of our democracy........the outcome of fair and proven elections when you lose. Trump is the most messed up politician in US history on this one. By itself, what he did and continues to do to the brains of tens of millions of far R cult followers that are convinced the 2020 election was stolen from him make him worthy of prison not president.

5. Politics today is extremely divisive and its killing our country. Trump takes the divisiveness to an extreme level that makes the other candidates look like MLK's. MLK professed love. Trump has generated more hatred than any person in US history. All a person needs to do to beat him in an election is..............run against him. They turn into NOT Donald Trump which is the most popular presidential candidate in the country. He caused numerous candidates to lose last November because they were backed by him or projected his fake election steal narrative.

6. Biden will lose to anybody running on the R ticket.....except one person. Trump. Biden must be defeated for our country to move forward to reverse some of the very damaging consequences of his presidency.

7. Extremely important. A candidate running for your party should always be able to unite that party. Trump has divided his own party more than any politician in my lifetime.

8. The one thing Trump has going for him is the cult of tens of millions of Rs that are completely blind to everything above and have fractured the R party. They are captivated by his BS and actually love all his lies because its exactly what they want to hear.  Because of this bamboozle power, many Rs in his own party are afraid to come out against him or else he will seek vengeance on them.

9. The Ds want more than anything for Trump to run in 2024. I can tell you with absolute certainty, that like 2020, if Trump runs again there will be another record or near record turnout of Ds and Independents voting again and for the exact same reason that the previous election smashed the previous record......... almost  all their votes will be for NOT Donald Trump.

10. People are sadly mistaken that, because he has clearly been unfairly targeted by the justice/intel and MSM communities to try to destroy him...........that supporting him is somehow fighting the establishment.

Think about how insane that really is.

If you want to identify all the unfair attacks  and defend Trump against the unfair attacks..........that's perfectly fine. I always do that.

But that doesn't  mean ignore all the off the charts REAL items mentioned above. Because he's being attacked by the enemy, in the minds of the far right, somehow qualifies a diabolical unqualified  person  to be president.

Trump is the best thing that ever happened to the D party. You will believe fact checks about the far left and intelligence agencies and MSM but completely ignore fact checks on Trump and far right rubbish.

Hey, it's your choice but when you post the rubbish here..............guess what will happen?

It will get FACT CHECKED and DEBUNKED.  I encourage you to continue to post more of it here because people like you that prefer echo chambers repeating the bunk don't get too many opportunities to see the objective truths!

Neither political party has a franchise on the truth.

If you believe one party all the time......................you will believe in lies some of the time.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Addition:

"The trick is being able to tell the difference between the truth and the lies, then picking the truth from BOTH parties and rejecting their lies.

What makes that incredibly difficult to do is that the stronger your affiliation to a party is,  the more blindly you embrace all the tenets of their belief system!

Again, mcfarm. The biggest difference between you and me on politics is that I can usually tell when each side is lying and when each side is telling the truth.

SO CAN I.  I'M PRETTY SURE MCFARM CAN, TOO.  LOL  WE ALL ARE DIFFERENT & JUST BECAUSE WE'RE DIFFERENT, DOESN'T MEAN SOMEBODY IS AUTOMATICALLY WRONG.

TRUTH TAKES A LONG TIME TO SURFACE, WHEN IT'S EMBEDDED IN POLITICIANS.

LOL  "Trump: I could shoot somebody and not lose voters  "

ADMITTEDLY, I GASPED WHEN I WATCHED HIM SAY THAT!  BUT.... BEFORE I'D COMPLETED THAT GASP... MY 2ND THOUGHT WAS ALREADY TAKIN' CENTER STAGE: >> "WELL... IF HE SHOT SOMEONE THAT WAS ATTACKING HIM ~ HE'D GET MILLIONS OF MORE VOTES"  HAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
