I voted for Donald Trump in November 2024 for 2 reasons.
1. To use my 1 vote to show my strong disapproval with the horrible leadership and agenda of the cognitively impaired Biden/Harris regime.
2. Most importantly, despite greatly disapproving of Donald Trump, I was convinced that he was the only person who could end the war in Ukraine quickly. Ending the war in Ukraine was near the top of my list of priorities. I had no idea that Donald Trump would hijack our democracy while the VAST majority Rs in Congress would enable, defend, support AND FEAR HIM!!! Be able to replace many thousands of people in key roles with Donald Trump adulating MAGA cult members. Turning the United States into an Authoritarian form of government. That form of government can actually work if the leader is making smart decisions and doesn't have a diseased, delusional brain with progressive dementia and isn't obsessed with personal conquest and making themselves a global legend instead of doing things to help their country or to make the world a better place.
Anyways, this is a comprehensive analysis of why Donald Trump catastrophically failed to end the Ukraine War. It's not because he didn't try. It's because he was totally focused on making Donald Trump look great instead of sincerely representing Ukraine and their best interests and the Americans that he promised he would end the war for to get their votes in the 2024 presidential election.
This has nothing to do with my personal opinion of Donald Trump. It's an objective analysis using authentic facts and the psychology of negotiating (with basic negotiating 101 strategy) and mindset of Donald Trump.

As mentioned a dozen+ times here. The main reason that I voted for Donald Trump in November 2024 was because I actually believed he was the only one that could end the war in Ukraine quickly. Not in 24 hours as he insisted on the campaign trail but certainly within a few months. He clearly made an effort but the way that he went about it, turns out was exactly wrong.
Intentionally degrading and scolding Zelensky in front of a global audience in order to show boat the omnipotent Donald Trump and trying to get him to adulate Donald Trump like all of Trumps other minions sent the exact wrong message to Putin.
If you are for the people of Ukraine, you don't trash their leader in public. In private, sure but that was the worst tactic ever from Mr. Art of the Deal, if you are representing Ukraine and trying to pressure Russia (that has all the cards) to end the war. This was just being a bully against somebody much weaker and sending a message to Putin that Russia holds the cards and advantages, so why should he stop???
Making it much worse is that with the person he should have been talking tough to, Putin he acted nice to and when he reported their private conversations, his version was pretending to have control over Putin to make Donald Trump look good(which is always the top priority of Donald Trump). No way! Instead this just caused Putin to see Donald Trump as a big mouth clown and PUTIN (who is also a psychopath with delusions of grandeur) WAS NOT GOING TO LET A BIG MOUTH CLOWN CONVINCE THE WORLD THAT HE COULD CONTROL PUTIN!!!! Especially after he told the world and Putin that Russia has all the cards.
What serious negotiator throws their side under the bus and tells the other side, that the other side has all the cards and gives them incentive to keep going?
If I was was a MLB agent for a weak player, Joe Zelensky of the NY Yankees being paid to get the best deal/contract from his team, I wouldn't lead off the negotiations with the team/owner/management by telling them that Joe Zelensky had to most strike outs in the league and Joe also committed the most errors when he was in the field. Then, bringing Joe Zelensky in and scolding him in front of the owner for even wanting to be a MLB player and telling the player he should be grateful to the agent for even agreeing to represent him because he doesn't deserve to be in the MLB let alone being on the NY Yankees.

The Ukraine war will end some day, maybe soon just based on Russia's Mt. Everest sized losses that continue to accumulate and can't be sustained forever. However, Donald Trump's unjustified war in Iran, with him lifting the sanctions on Russia's oil and Donald Trump's self inflicted worst global energy crisis in history, gave Putin an additional 50% for his oil, which has sadly and ironically helped Putin to finance his war LONGER than if anybody else was president of the United States.
This is the 1, most important REAL world war, now over 4 years old that we were counting on Donald Trump to end. Not 10 fake wars.
To make it so much worse was his unjustified, unprovoked war in Iran to serve Bibi Netanyahu/Israel and severely punish the economies and people of every country in the world(except Russia)........while claiming to be the president of peace that ended 10 wars.
Making up the imminent threat of nuclear weapons, while all of Iran's enriched uranium has been buried deeply underground and sealed in cement since June 2025 and YEARS away from being used to make a nuclear weapon.

Very sadly, most of our politicians don’t really give a crap about Ukrainians.
They are bought and paid for by the military industrial complex as well as whatever their party compels them to align with.
Most votes are determined by their PARTY lines NOT with what’s right and wrong or what’s best for our country.
It may have appeared as if I’ve flipped on this issue in some respects but it’s just the opposite.
I always support the Ukrainian people. The first few years of sending them on suicide missions to lose a war badly to enrich the military industrial complex and politicians and calling that “supporting Ukraine” was complete bs.
The millions of Ukrainians that had somebody in their family that was a casualty of the war certainly did not appreciate the PENALTY their family paid for the role of the United States in the war.
The dynamics have changed under Donald Trump and Russia now having been worn down by 4 years of sustaining the war.
If this causes Russia to finally capitulate and come to some sort of peace agreement, will the fight have been worth it?

Telling zelensky that he would get Ukraine into NATO AND, with the assistance of the powerful military industrial complex fromm the great USA, they would defeat Russia as a team. With the US giving them all the weapons they would need, all Zelensky needed to do was provide all the soldiers.
It was a losing strategy on day 1, as I screamed loudly about here from the get go. You CANNOT win a war of attrition like the one that Putin knew he would win when the other side has 3 times as many soldiers and their military leader is willing to sacrifice all of their lives to win it.
This is not me doing Monday morning quarterbacking.I insisted this from day 1 back in 2022. Biden thought otherwise and picked a war he thought he would win because he wanted NATO to expand and hated Russia so much, and didn’t value the lives of Ukrainians enough.
Biden would never have sacrificed any American lives…..too unpopular. Too valuable.

There is plenty of evil in the world and we can’t stop all of it completely.
Sometimes, you have to make smart choices when the evil has enormous military power that they WILL use with reckless abandon.
Instead of fighting evil in a war of attrition with unthinkable losses like those in Ukraine, we could have simply given in to evil with their 1 main demand that in perspective was actually reasonable.
NO EXPANSION OF NATO into Ukraine!
