Allied countries joining Donald Trump in the Iran war:

None!

Trump warns US allies to ‘get involved and quickly’ with Iran war in rambling remarks

America’s usual allies, such as the UK and France, have thus far resisted Trump’s demand to help the US escort oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, earning the president’s condemnation

Thanks, mcfarm,

I changed the title slightly so its not misunderstood what the point is.

It's NOT a poll of countries opinions as you suggested.

Rebuffed by allies, Trump now says U.S. doesn't need help defending the Strait of Hormuz

On Monday, Trump said "numerous countries" were "on their way" to help. A day later, he expressed frustration on social media that "most" NATO allies weren't going to assist.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/rebuffed-allies-trump-help-defending-strait-hormuz-rcna263917

First on social media and later in an Oval Office meeting, Trump said the outside military support he has been working to muster is no longer necessary in the war, which the U.S. and Israel launched against Iran on Feb. 28.

“We don’t need any help, actually,” Trump said in an exchange with reporters in the Oval Office as he hosted Ireland’s prime minister, Micheál Martin.

“President Trump has great relationships with foreign leaders around the world. At the same time, he has long called attention to the disproportional dynamics that have been enabled by weak Presidents for decades — including the United States’ extensive financial support of NATO and unfair trading practices that hurt our farmers and workers,” White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly said in a statement. “The President was resoundingly elected to put America First, and he will continue to bolster US national security through Operation Epic Fury, with or without NATO.”

Europe didn’t want an Iran war, yet Trump is saddling it with the consequences

https://www.cnn.com/2026/04/02/europe/europe-nato-iran-war-trump-consequences-intl

Trump’s attempt to offload responsibility suggests a new doctrine for US policy in the Middle East, said Richard Haass, president emeritus of the Council on Foreign Relations. In an inversion of the old Pottery Barn rule – “you break it, you buy it” – Trump is now telling his European allies: “We broke it, but you own it,” said Haass.

That position has put Europe in a bind: Trump did not consult his European and NATO allies before launching the war but now is demanding that they take responsibility for returning things to how they were before.

“There was a way to bring our NATO allies into the discussion and have a discussion about how we can increase pressure on Iran. The president decided to do none of that,” Ivo Daalder, a former US ambassador to NATO, told CNN.

Much of the trust that survived the first year evaporated after Trump’s threats in January to annex Greenland, an autonomous part of Denmark, raising the once-unthinkable prospect that one member of NATO – an alliance based on collective self-defense – might attack another.

European leaders have since pushed back more firmly against Trump’s demands. On Thursday, French President Emmanuel Macron said Trump’s idea of “forcibly liberating” the Strait of Hormuz was “unrealistic.”

In an unusually sharp rebuke, Macron criticized the president’s inconsistencies. “When we want to be serious, we don’t say the opposite of what we said the day before,” he said.

Outside of MAGA republicans, who support EVERYTHING that Trump does, no matter how ruinous, counterproductive, dishonest, costly, hypocritical or stupid, Americans are against this war.

Why in tarnation would we expect Europe, which has been against this unjustified, unprovoked, unconsulted and  very unpopular war with Americans to clean up Donald Trump's illegal(against International laws/our Constitution)  mess?

If I see a friend at the bank and he suddenly and unexpectedly pulls out a gun and robs the bank, shooting 2 cops in the process,  am I obligated to be his get away transportation because he's my friend?????

++++++++++++

Donald Trump has violated the NATO friendship, the NATO agreements and profoundly disrespected all the NATO countries and the NATO country leaders over and over and over in the last year.

Only in MAGA-world would those be the circumstances that one would expect NATO to provide an iota worth of assistance in this unjustified war that Donald Trump caused  in order to please his master from Israel in order to generate his deranged, psychological life blood...........praise and adulation from people.

Donald Trump did not promise NO NEW LIES.

Most people that voted for him, ASSUMED that he would tell many thousands of lies each year, that incredibly included me but I justified voting for him because I trusted that at least he would end the war in Ukraine quickly. Was I ever wrong!!

However, he did promise NO NEW WARS on his platform to be re elected. He promised it hundreds of times to help generate votes.

He has blatantly violated that  solemn promise and profoundly betrayed our country and ALL Americans, not just those that voted for him to be the complete opposite in this realm. That includes the ONLY REASON THAT I VOTED IN NOVEMBER 2024!!!!
I was NEVER Biden/Harris and disliked Trump but used the end of Ukraine‘s war and any other wars to justify voting for Donal Trump!

He is serving Israel and Donald Trump's constant need for adulation to feed his mental illness and using our military for an unjustified, unprovoked war that makes no sense at all to anybody not living in Israel.

With friends like this...........who needs enemies!!!

This war is very unpopular everywhere! Especially in the United States. However, there is 1 country where the people have strongly supported this war.

With that being the case, we know who Donald Trump is serving!

After telling us that we already won the war, then that it would be just a brief incursion, then another 2-3 weeks with different mixed signals and over  half a dozen different times frames, Donald Trump just went back to his “we’re just getting started narrative with us over 1 month since the unjustified, unplanned and hard to stop war was started by team psychopath(Netanyahu and Trump)
