Americans were polled on that question.  Results:

Biden won - 79%

Election yet decided - 13%

Trump won - 3%

No opinion - 5%

The hindrance for transition is unfortunate.

wow,how cute joj. a poll with no internals. show us the data. how many people of what variety were polled. I have not seen a poll yet but will tell you the evidence of chesting is growing by the day. Trump and the senate races not called are going in the right direction and biden/harris ticket is trending exactly the opposite. After the cheating is weeded out its an easy transition to a new Trump term II. Thanks for nothing.

another poll of sorts. Mike Wallace asked Biden at the "debate" paraphrase, do you promise to wait for the election results and not claim victory....Why yes of  course says old Biden. Hey Joe unlike the Russians, ukranians, the Chinese and Iranians we Americans would think you could remember what you told them just a month ago

This is a wonderful topic to discuss here, thanks joj!

It clear that Biden won the election. If it were just one really close state, like GA, which is doing a recount, then I would not be so confident but Trump is not going to flip 2 more states that he would need.

PA, NV and AZ would be his best shots but he is NOT going to flip any of those. Recounts almost never change the election, even close elections and this was not nearly close enough in any of those states.

I have been insisting that he concede ASAP and this is a very  embarrassing way for him to go out and cause me to not miss him much, at least at times when Biden isn't try to steal our intelligence with his fake climate crisis and plans to address it which will wreck our energy interests and economy.

However, much of what Trump is doing is just using his legal options. I would be ok with this if he didn't make statements like "I won the election by alot"  or some of his outlandish statements about voter fraud, some based on him not liking the rules.

On  the bright side, maybe this will draw more attention to the real voter fraud that is taking place.

Trump is exaggerating the extent by a huge amount (as usual) and there is almost no way there was enough of it to affect the results here but one side continues to claim we don't have much voter fraud out there.

The facts show otherwise........we do have voter fraud that is sometimes more than isolated but the cases suggest it is not likely on the scale needed to account for many thousands of votes. I could be wrong and not able to see something but would be shocked  if we learn otherwise.

If the hand count in GA comes up pretty close to the original count, then it likely confirms this. If they used computer tricks to manipulate the results, as some contend, then it will show up in the hand count.

If those same people think that different tricks were used during the hand count to get the same results as those from using the computer tricks.............then nothing will convince you. You will have decided to believe something that will have 0 substantive evidence to support it.

Trump should at the very least acknowledge the reality of the situation.........that Biden won the election with a margin of 3 states that will not all flip.

If he did this and it meant he could not get any recounts then I have mixed feelings.

It's probably best for our country to move on, however, I would like to see the recounts, since obviously a significant number of people do NOT trust the results.

With no recounts and us going forward, those people will be forever like the dems blaming Russia 4 years ago. With recounts confirming the initial results, it's like the Mueller report(no collusion)...........only delivered a few weeks later.......not years later and 30 million dollars cheaper.  The election was fair and square, your person lost and blame them, not the other person's' fraudulence.

A Sampling of Recent Election Fraud Cases from Across the United States

The Heritage Foundation’s Election Fraud Database presents a sampling of recent proven instances of election fraud from across the country. This database is not an exhaustive or comprehensive list. It does not capture all cases and certainly does not capture reported instances that are not investigated or prosecuted.  It is intended to demonstrate the vulnerabilities in the election system and the many ways in which fraud is committed.  In addition to diluting the votes of legitimate voters, fraud can have an impact in close elections, and we have many close elections in this country. Preventing, deterring, and prosecuting election fraud is essential to protecting the integrity of our voting process.  Reforms intended to ensure such integrity do not disenfranchise voters and, in fact, protect their right to vote.  Winning elections leads to political power and the incentives to take advantage of security vulnerabilities are great, so it is important that we take reasonable steps to make it hard to cheat, while making it easy for legitimate voters to vote.

1,298 Proven instances of voter fraud

1,121 Criminal convictions

48 Civil penalties

95 Diversion program

17 Judicial finding

17 Official finding

          Search the Database

metmike: Go to WI for instance. Over 40 convictions which means many times more than that which they decided not to prosecute or they lost because they did not have overwhelming evidence and many, many times more that were never caught.

MM, say what you will about Dick Morris but he knows elections. Tonite he was not nearly as sure as you about the outcome and he never questions you on the weather...ha....at any rate he see plenty to investigate and it should be investigated. 2 states had 109% registered or 1.5 m people because of dirty voter rolls for example. That computer glitch was also huge. Again we know there was fraud, just not how much fraud. How sad when we could run out biggest election with 100% efficiency if we tried.

True mcfarm!

My last post notes that as a big problem(even worse than that) which needs to be fixed. It's just asking for fraud from those that want to use it.

To your good point again  mcfarm,

What this means in a state like Nevada, that mailed out ballots to every single registered voter, including dead ones is that it was the recipe/invitation for people to commit voter fraud and for sure many people did it.

Just fill out the dead persons ballot and send it in.

Judicial Watch finds 1.8 million 'ghost voters' in 29 states, warns of 'dirty elections'

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/oct/20/judicial-watch-finds-18-million-ghost-voters-in-29/

metmike: This was very likely not enough to make a difference in the final outcome of this election but I would be surprised if thousands of fraudulent votes were not cast this way.

Let's use this time and place to fix the broken system.................not pretend that this did not happen because Trump said it did and exaggerated the amount/extent!

I am not against absentee/mail in ballot's. There are many good reasons for them.

Elderly,

Physically handicapped

Health.........this year COVID

Poor eye sight

Transportation issues

Conflict with work or another high priority thing on that day

Out of the country

Military

Probably other good reasons that somebody else can mention.

However, we must eliminate most of the dead voters that are still registered to vote and require live people to make the request for an absentee ballot.

absentee way different than this new way to big fraud called mail in....dems  obviously saw a new way to cheat with the covid mess used as ammo  and the rest of the country lay down like little sheep and watched....now look at this mess we have to clean up. Why year after year is it usually the dems the pull this and year after year the dems drift further and further left? This trend seems to never change.
