Are you kidding me?????

Trump is delusional! His mental illness is progressing.  He is an increasing danger to this country and in fact the world. He should be impeached ASAP but instead, he is being enabled and encouraged by Rs that control both houses in Congress.

Fact check: Trump falsely claims US is only country that uses mail-in voting

https://www.cnn.com/2025/08/18/politics/trump-mail-in-voting

Trump’s new warnings about mail-in voting are the most sinister yet

https://www.cnn.com/2025/08/19/politics/trump-voting-mail-ballots-putin-analysis

Trump’s remarkable statement against states’ rights

  https://www.cnn.com/2025/08/18/politics/mail-voting-trump-states-rights-analysis

            But it was instructive in one way: It made clear the president elected to lead the party of states’ rights has very little regard for states’ rights.

            Indeed, he almost seems to disdain them.

++++++++++++==

No kidding!

He ran on draining the swamp but he filled up a much, MUCH bigger swamp with incompetent, Trump worshiping creatures to do his bidding.

He was supposed to REDUCE the federal government. Instead, he's been all about federal government/Trump power grabs.

He was supposed to reduce government spending to reduce the deficit. His Big NOT Beautiful Bill does the opposite.

He was supposed to be about states having more control and the Federal government less but in practice, it's been the opposite.  He took control of the state of California to stupidly send in the National Guard against their objection.

He's decimating the global free markets with his absurd, damaging tariffs, applied without rhyme or reason. Punishing Brazil with high tariffs because they are not treating his political, far right friend well. Threatening to put tariffs on countrys that trade with Russia......that punish US companies and US consumers that are the ones paying the tariffs.

Deranged President Trump has decided that mail in voting was  cheating by Ds and why he lost in 2020, so now that he's president again (thanks to mail in voting in 2024) he is trying to ban mail in voting that supposedly cost him the 2020 election with him focused on revenge on his enemies and revenge on anything that he thinks harmed him in the past.

I am dead serious when I say that this  pathological mentality could result in a nuclear war with Russia if he gets it in his head that its Putins fault that he didn't get the Nobel Peace Prize or that Putin embarrassed him on the world stage(again).

Great way to try to get to heaven

Watching Fox this evening.

They applaud and cheerlead for Trump's worst policies. Actions and words that as portrayed as being brilliant that in reality are catastrophically bad using authentic, objective eyes and reality based, apolitical facts.

Trump watches Fox much of the time,  which is how he knew which ones to appoint to almost 2 dozen key positions.

He uses Fox's propaganda as positive reinforcement to continue down a corrupt, ruinous, self enrichment driven path that violates basic standards of responsible leadership. Violates our Constitution, democracy and betrays his vows to the American people.

When I type this stuff or think about it, these realities seem so surreal. Fox News in the evening is like watching science fiction the way they twist everything like a pretzel to maintain their block busters ratings from MAGA tuning in the hear things that they wish were true every year.

On Jesse Watters tonight, I just heard that all the other stations are saying different things than they report because all those stations care about is ratings. Hugh???

How is it possible that the United States has a president saying these insane things and acting this way, almost with impunity? The #1 rated news show in the evenings just a high priest for Trump religion?

And getting worse and worse.

Where will this end up?

Predator Trump's NEW swamp continues to be much "swampier" and much less competent than the old swamp as he seeks revenge on people that disagree with him or that he thinks may have harmed him in the past and tries to silence/censor information that doesn't line up with the narratives to support him............including, looking to remove mail in voting that his delusional mind thinks was used by Ds to cheat and steal the 2020 election from him.

Predator Trump is a very dangerous man right now.

The completely unjustified search of John Bolton's house, weaponizing the FBI against him for being on CNN as a source for his analysis that didn't repeat the right pro Trump narratives (and has been a vocal Trump critic) is an extremely egregious violation/abuse of Predator Trump's power.

think you better pull back on your critcisim of the Bolton search. You may not know but this is identical to the Clinton foundation mess. Except there were 3 seperate investigations into that but all three were stopped by the corrupt Biden adm. This Bolton thing was started and strangely just like the Clinton case, was suddenly stopped under Biden.

Thanks, mcfarm!

You provide authentic evidence of that, NOT Fox News rhetoric and I will cheerfully adjust my position with a huge thank you to boot.

Regardless, these are many of the authentic facts on August 22, 2025.

FBI Searches Home and Office of John Bolton, Ex-Trump Adviser and Prominent Trump Critic

https://time.com/7311634/john-bolton-raid-ambassador-trump/

The precise focus of the Bolton investigation remains unclear, though it is believed to concern a potential mishandling or retention of national security information. Trump had previously threatened to jail Bolton over his 2020 memoir, The Room Where It Happened, which depicted Trump as uninformed on foreign policy and driven primarily by personal political gain.

On his first day back in the Oval Office in January, Trump revoked security clearances from more than four dozen former intelligence officials(all of them as personal retribution from Trump-metmike), including Bolton. Trump also canceled Bolton’s Secret Service protection, despite the fact that the Justice Department had said he was the target of an alleged murder-for-hire scheme by a member of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Speaking to reporters later in the day, Trump insisted that he didn’t know about the raid but expected to be briefed on it by the Justice Department. “I could know about it. I could be the one starting it. I’m actually the chief law enforcement officer. But I feel that it’s better this way,” Trump said.

++++++++++=

Extremely unstable and dangerous person because he's the most powerful man on the planet. His pathological, impulsive and delusional thinking makes him extremely unpredictable. He feels that he can abuse his tremendous power with impunity to impose anything he wants for self serving objectives!

That is an indisputable fact rooted in all the evidence besides being my opinion.

Previous threads related to classified documents. Nobody is going to read all this stuff, so why do I post it?

1. In case people Do want the background and all the relevant information, it's right there.

2. I DO actually read much of it to access previous discussions  that can be used for citations and many sources of rock solid evidence that I don't need to do the research all over again that, in some very long discussions with numerous threads to me many hours to accumulate. Now, it's all there below on this 1 page/post.

3. To refresh my memory about what was important in previous discussions and also appreciate my own thoughts that were wrong at the time and why.  And also, what has been proven right and wrong since then.

4. I counted 15 threads below with hundreds of posts. It took me many dozens of hours of research to post the stuff in them the first time. It took me more like 40 minutes to review most of it and copy the posts below that will be my "go to" page to quickly get that old information in a flash to use with this new discussion. Even if this new discussion goes nowhere, while compiling this list, I was reminded of a dozen different things related to this topic that I completely forgot about.

Thanks, cutworm!

Trump sure has wasted tons of time releasing the Epstein files that were promised to us.

When he has so much unchallenged power (by Congress that has ceded their power to him) why wouldn't he impose his agenda, including absurd policies with impunity?

This seems to be more about his pathological belief that the Ds stole the election from him with mail in voting in 2020 (even though mail in voting won him the election in 2024) and he wants to stop the process that he thinks caused his loss.

Just the fact that he goes on and on and on and on and on and on about how the Ds stole the election from him in 2020, no matter where he is or who he's having a conversation with tells us how disturbed his thinking is. Mental illness, I tell ya. And it's getting worse with time.

Giving the most powerful man in the world,  with pathological thinking even more power(and already blatantly abusing what the Constitution gave him) is putting us at great risk for escalating, negative consequences.

With regards to Russia-gate.  Here's the biggest problem. Trump is doing so many bogus, authoritarian/fascist things, including telling thousands of easy to verify lies and politically weaponizing his power to take down enemies that he has no credibility outside of MAGA.

Russia-gate as I documented while it was happening here with many hundreds of posts, really did happen as the Trump people are showing right now. Almost exactly! Hard to believe but it did.

But this is like a blind squirrel finding an acorn.

Regardless of how this turns out, people on both sides have long, long ago decided what to believe and no matter what Trump's people show, it's not going to change that. Instead it will just waste time on something that is not going to accomplish anything positive and instead create additional division and LESS support for Trump by people outside of MAGA. Trump is obsessed with retribution, so this is destined to be a focus for the rest of his term.

On Bolton.

OF COURSE this is political!

However, we don't know what the evidence was that got a court to authorize this search in 2 different locals. So commenting specifically is premature.

Trump claiming that he didn't know anything about this and then going on about how he was harmed by a similar search of Mar a Lago and telling us about why he thinks Bolton is such a dirt bag and deserves it doesn't make sense. They would have absolutely briefed him on this, so telling lies discredits this even more.

We know its political between Trump and Bolton because he revoked Bolton's  security clearance on day 1 and took away his Secret Service protection at the same time in retribution for Bolton speaking out against Trump (including revealing who Trump really is in Bolton's book). He has made dozens of comments about his bad opinion of Bolton.

And we are supposed to think that this search evolved independent of that and from a justice/FBI with hand picked, Trump loyalists  that projects Trumpism all day long???

No way, man!

Let's see what they supposedly have before commenting more.

Trump will always have Fox and MAGA but he is eroding his support from more and more people and sources that once supported him, including me by his erratic, unprofessional, dangerous abuse of power and some really, REALLY bad decisions, like his tariffs that are destroying long lived trading relationships with our trading partners.

No, mcfarm everybody that has this opinion isn't TDS. I voted for Trump last November and have defended him with more authentic facts/posts, when he deserved to be defended than everybody else here combined.

Even if Trump ends the war in Ukraine (which is extremely unlikely because Putin won the war and NATO/Ukraine are living a delusional dream, insisting Russia give it back and Ukraine get into NATO-which will NEVER happen), the reason I voted for him, I regret the vote but heck, the election wasn't decided by my vote

In fact, what happened the past week with Trump meeting with Putin, then NATO/Ukraine, in retrospect seems to likely just have been another Trump political stunt to elevate himself(bragging last Monday all meeting long about ending all 6 wars, except for the one in Ukraine which is another fictional  Trump  world) .

I believe now that Trump just staged all of this to increase his chances to get the Nobel Peace Prize that he doesn't deserve. If he ended the war in Ukraine.........then he deserves it. If he ended the war in Gaza(that he is making worse) then he deserves it.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Everything that I've stated here is based on facts, despite not knowing what is in the warrant yet. The relationship between Trump and Bolton is a very inconvenient fact though, isn't it! Trump's behavior is extremely relevant.

Hell in the Biden family that has biden common practice for over 50 damn years

What has Biden got to do with this?

This is about Bolton, Trump and Trump's FBI, applying Trump's justice. Bringing in Biden and the past is just evidence that Trump is seeking vengeance for the past and I know that's not your intention.

Here's another extremely relevant fact that can be stated without knowing what's in the warrant yet.

Trump repeatedly pointed a finger at Bolton in the days before raids

No evidence suggests Trump ordered the FBI raid of John Bolton’s home and office. Significant evidence shows that Trump was angry about Bolton’s criticisms.

President Trump Fires Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook

The biggest reason that the Fed has not acted to lower interest rates like Trump has been demanding from the negative impacts of the Trump economic slow down is because of the Trump tariffs causing inflationary pressure. Trump caused stagflation.

What has Biden got to do with this?  MM 8/22.....again, reading is fundamental. If you cared to read the post instead of jumping to your typical......I was explaining to Larry that  the Bolton behavior being researched by the doj was  a copy of what he learned from guess who? Biden after 50 damn years of the same. By the way this case was lawfully researched and presented to a court with a judge who approves the search. Now unless something untoward comes like Comey Biden
Clapper Brennan and company deliberately lying to a  court and committing fraud and a presidential coup we will soon see what is and what is not. Well of course and unless Trump is involved because once that name appears naturally he is guilty. Period guilty as hell, not trial needed.

What the 2020 investigation of John Bolton says about the new probe

https://www.cnn.com/2025/08/23/politics/john-bolton-2020-investigation

            A criminal grand jury investigation resulted in no charges and was closed during the early months of the Biden administration.

            At the time the cases were dropped, Bolton’s attorney said the Biden administration had “tacitly acknowledged that President Trump and his White House officials acted illegitimately.”

+++++++++++++++++

mcfarm, this was already investigated and a criminal grand jury's investigation made a legal decision that no charges be filed. Trump doesn't like that decision and he wants to retry Bolton for the same thing the grand jury cleared him for.  Knowing Trump's people, they are trying some legal tricks to justify retrying Bolton for the same thing that the grand jury failed to indict him over in 2020. So what if Biden was the president. Grand juries are grand juries that should be respected.

++++++++++++++++

Navarro pretty much confirms that this is political and related to Bolton's book that criticized Trump, so now he wants to punish him for it. That book went thru the proper protocol to be approved before it was published.

Navarro rips Bolton’s handling of government info

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5469812-peter-navarro-accuses-bolton-profiteering/

+++++++++++++

This confirms that this is political. About the book that embarrassed Trump, which the grand jury had already ruled on in 2020 but Trump wants retribution against Bolton in 2025 for what is in the book.

+++++++++++

For the background on Navarro, he's a president Trump loyalist that will violate laws for him, which is why he's in the current key position of the Trump administration. He has an allegiance to Trump and NOT the Constitution or America.

Just a reminder. Despite what Trump insists daily, the Ds did NOT cheat to beat him in November 2020. We know too, with 100% certainty what he did for 2 months after that, trying to overturn the results to make himself the winner.  We also know all the indisputable details of how he plotted/planned out his Insurrection in an attempt to have a coup to overthrow the results of the 2020 election on January 6, 2021.

Navarro was Trump's partner in crime after the loss in 2020!  Insisting that the election was stolen and trying to overturn the results, along with Trump.

Instead of testifying under oath about his role (and either admitting his/Trumps crimes or having to lie under oath), he refused to testify. Considering what he and Trump actually did after the 2020 election, trying to overturn the results, he and Trump should still be in prison today.

How Peter Navarro ended up in prison

And they cling to this fairy tale version with the faith of a religion..........because that's how cult thinking works.

wow you sure topped your self there....CNN and Bolton's attorney said.....If things pan out like there are looking today Bolton traded national security for cash......and things are looking likely he did it. After years of what he called fighting the good fight he sure appears Bolton went to the dark side and wanted paid. So sad if TDS pushed him into such a  dark place. But as I said and this is for the 3rd time he learned t the feet of pros. “This lawsuit strikes at the heart of a growing crisis: the weaponization of the legal system against political opponents,” said Jessica Hart Steinmann, executive general counsel at AFPI. “We are taking this fight to court because the American people deserve to know whether this unprecedented prosecution was a product of justice—or politics. Bragg’s refusal to comply with basic public records law raises serious concerns about what he’s trying to hide.”

This lady that worked for the FED was doing her job and doing it well, if you want to know the facts. Trump wants the Fed to lower interest rates so he fires people on the Fed(or threatens them) to try to get that.

The Fed, unlike Trump is NOT political and know what they are doing. Trump has proven repeatedly that he  has  no comprehension of what would happen (just look at what he's been doing with mind boggling, ruinous tariffs). He's decided that we need lower interest rates in his pathological, omnipotent  mind and will abuse his power to get them.

Not only is that the TRUE story but one of his biggest defenders in recent years is now his biggest critic on this because Kevin O'Leary actually UNDERSTANDS why the fed is not dropping interest rates, while Trump has no clue.

O’Leary warns of hyperinflation if Trump sets interest rates

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5476454-oleary-warns-of-hyper-inflation-if-trump-sets-interest-rates/

“The reason we don’t have hyperinflation like Venezuela is we have a Fed. If you allow the ‘el presidente’ to set interest rates, you end up with bread costing $1,000 more every day,” O’Leary said during a Thursday appearance on Fox Business.

“And that’s what happens in Venezuela. So, you know, these — the idea that you have the executive deciding monetary policy, that just doesn’t work,” he added.

 This week, Trump attempted to fire Federal Reserve board member Lisa Cookfor alleged mortgage fraud. Democrats said the effort was launched to interfere with the independent agency’s nonpartisanship to force lower rates.

 Now, when YOUR GUY is weaponizing the criminal justice system for political reasons(investigating one of the Fed governors that won't vote to lower interest rates like Trump is insisting on to find a reason to fire her) She's guilty because Fox/MAGA and Trump says she is.

There are facts that we don't know about these mortgage agreements between Cook and the banks.

What Trump did with his banks was to INTENTIONALLY,  massively inflate the value of his properties so that he could borrow more money at a better interest rate. What made this ok is that the bank's appraiser KNEW THIS. Deutche Bank wanted to make the bigger loans because they wanted to make more money on Trump. The Deutche Bank appraiser, agreed with those inflated values, KNOWING everything about them.

James claimed it was unfair/fraud because the bank and Trump negotiated for a better interest rate and loan than most people get. This is nonsense. The PRIVATE bank can loan however much money they want at whatever rate they want to whoever they want based on their risk departments knowing all the factors like this.

+++++++++++++++++

What Cook did was claim that 2 of her 3 properties were primary residences. Typically banks require the borrower to have only 1 primary residence BUT THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS, just like the Trump exception above that was ok because Trump was on board with everything and the bank authorized it, knowing all the facts and know rules/laws were broken.

This is an entirely different case. The most important element is whether Cook intentionally deceived the banks to get a better interest rate on 1 of the homes (which comes with a primary home mortgage). The mortgage rates that she got, actually were NOT better than market rates at the time. Also, there are exceptions that allow a person to have 2 primary residences. We have no idea if Cook qualified for an exception and will need to know the actual agreement that was made, just like we needed to find out from Deutche Bank what the agreement was between them and Trump, which was ABOVE BOARD.

Here's a wonderful explanation for Cook's situation:

Fed Governor Cook's mortgages: What's known and what's not

By Reuters

"The real question to ask here was, was there any misleading of lenders," Cornell University Law Professor Robert Hockett said. "If the lenders knew... and they were able to factor that in in order to risk-price the lending, then that's above board."

++++++++++++++

Can you have two primary residence mortgages at once?

https://themortgagereports.com/29744/mortgage-qualifying-two-primary-residences

+++++++++++++++++

At this point, we don't have the facts to know for sure but it could potentially be intentional deception, just like it looked like Trump's agreements with Deutche Bank looked like it might be intentional deception.........UNTIL WE GOT THE BANKS TAKE!

There could potentially be an infraction here too if she didn't qualify for an exception but we can't know that without facts.

The only thing that we know with 100% certainty is that Trump had HIS justice department investigate her, weaponizing it for political means to eliminate her because she disagrees with him on the current interest rate that the Fed, an independent organization sets.

++++++++++++++++++++++

He's also investigating Fed Chairman Powell with the objective of finding some reason to fire/replace him but has had to back off temporarily:

Behind Trump's move to back off Powell: Lawyers warned against it.

Privately, White House officials acknowledge uncertainty about Trump firing Powell solely based on accusations he mismanaged a multi-year renovation project.

https://subscriber.politicopro.com/article/2025/07/trump-is-eyeing-firing-powell-a-shaky-legal-case-and-jittery-markets-are-in-the-way-00459477

++++++++++++

The Trump justice system is actively investigating everybody that he thinks wronged him in the past as well as those on the current playing field that are in his way and preventing him from imposing his agenda. This is not debatable. It's an accepted, proven fact of the REAL world.

So Trump drained the swamp from the swamp creatures who were targeting him and filled it up with MUCH MORE swampier MAGA creatures that aren't  just targeting all his enemies, he wants retribution against all the old swamp creatures.

Again, this is indisputable and 10,000 times more concerning than whether a Fed. Governor legally claimed 2 properties as primary residences or not. On the later, I remain objective and will report authentic facts, when we get them on the arrangements that she had with her banks. Maybe this is a violation.

Fox claims that she did this to get lower rates but as the previous post showed, she apparently paid a rate HIGHER than what the market was offering to most people at that time.

This is why I will wait to hear/read what the banks state, like I did for Trump when Latisha James was targeting him by weaponizing the criminal justice system, EXACTLY LIKE TRUMP IS WEAPONIZING THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM here to eliminate somebody that doesn’t agree with him.

Could  be  that  she did do something wrong here if she intentionally lied to the bank (which is my speculative guess right now) but I’m not going to take the word of the worst sources on the planet ….Trump and his minions, including Fox.  More often than not, the truth is the complete opposite of their false narratives manufactured for political impacts.
Sometimes they are right and this could be one of them. Usually not, though!

So their wild speculation that Bolton is guilty because he's being silent is rooted entirely in far right bias.

Maybe Bolton is just SMART.

Trump's big mouth and keyboard get him in more trouble than any other president in history. He should try to learn to be silent as every defense attorney will tell their clients. Fight the battle in court using facts/evidence and laws and don't' open yourself up to unnecessary charges or evidence with public statements that can only be held against you. Trump, instead has no self control(impulsive) and knows that Fox/MAGA will interpret all his words, including nonsense as Gospel.

I see this as SMART!!! Whether he is guilty of anything, we'll have to wait and see but with absolute certainty, this is President Trump weaponizing the justice system to target his enemies.

I spoke out very strongly against that when they were doing it to Trump. Every time they did it to him. Something like1,000 posts here defending him in dozens of threads and calling them out for targeting Trump by weaponizing the justice system.

mcfarm, you agreed with almost every one of those posts.

I noticed that we're on different sides this time when Trump is the one weaponizing the justice system, with at least as much gusto as when they did it to him.

Care to explain that? Thanks in advance!

I do appreciate your sincere opinions and would rather have them than not have them and still, really like posts that disagree with me.

Again, I have always greatly disliked warmonger Bolton and he's the last person I want to defend.

Trump announces Space Command headquarters moving from Colorado to Alabama

I found it interesting that during the questioning and Trump went off script with his answers, he mentioned that one of the biggest factors in moving it out of Colorado was that they have corrupt, mail in voting there so we can't trust them.

 Further down in that CBS link is this, which says the ENTIRE CO congressional delegation is criticizing this. Is that true? If so, that would include 4 GOP representatives, which I bolded below. Mike, do you know?

Colorado delegation says it will take "necessary action" to keep Space Command in the state

Colorado's entire congressional delegation criticized the Trump administration's decision to move U.S. Space Command from Colorado Springs to Huntsville, Alabama, and warned the relocation would harm not only the state, but also the country.

"We are united in fighting to reverse this decision," Colorado's two senators and eight House members said in a joint statement. "Bottom line — moving Space Command headquarters weakens our national security at the worst possible time. Moving Space Command sets our space defense apparatus back years, wastes billions of taxpayer dollars, and hands the advantage to the converging threats of China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea."

The lawmakers said that Space Command's presence in Colorado Springs has created a civilian workforce that it now relies on, and said these businesses and their employees will not move with the command.

"Moving Space Command would not result in any additional operational capabilities than what we have up and running in Colorado Springs now," they said. "Colorado Springs is the appropriate home for U.S. Space Command, and we will take the necessary action to keep it there."

Colorado is represented in Congress by Democratic Sens. John Hickenlooper and Michael Bennet. It's delegation in the House includes Democratic Reps. Diana DeGette, Joe Neguse, Jason Crow and Brittany Pettersen, and Republicans Jeff Hurd, Lauren Boebert, Jeff Crank and Gabe Evans.

I'm glad you posted that, Larry!

It's getting almost impossible for me to keep up with all the chaos that Trump is causing. I watched his press conference and thought this sounded like a great idea based on the (manufactured) facts that Trump and his people were giving. I'm sure that some of them were good reasons too.

I have not followed this issue at all.

However, when Trump mentioned a key factor being getting it out CO because they have mail in voting and rig their elections..........alarm bells and red flashing lights went off in my head.

Later on, when a reporter asked him about tariffs, he actually stated that he ended 7 wars thanks to his tariffs.
