When it comes up here, again and again and gets debunked each time, I honestly feel bad for the people that ignore the debunking and bring it up each time because they have a comprehension disorder that disables their brain so that it's completely unable to learn about things that contradict what Fox told them or Info Wars told them or Zero Hedge told them.

What the people in these articles are doing is not turn the other cheek stuff, however. It's a find them and hold them accountable to laws that prevent these kinds of acts to protect innocent people. This also sets an example/precedent for others to see so it deters them from violating peoples rights and property.
Allowing it to continue without consequences increases the odds of it escalating/becoming worse and even getting deadly when the same deranged group think mentality gets into the minds of enough people. It's just a matter of time before an unstable person hurts or kills innocent victims.
