The Islamic regime in Iran has sent its demands to the U.S. for potential negotiations. According to The Wall Street Journal, citing informed sources, the IRGC is said to be demanding that Washington close all U.S. bases in the Persian Gulf, pay compensation for attacks on Iran, lift all sanctions, and guarantee non-aggression in the future. It also reportedly insists on retaining Iran’s missile program and seeks the right to charge commercial vessels for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, similar to how Egypt charges for transit through the Suez Canal. Additionally, Iran is said to demand that Israel halt its strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

They came to the negotiating table last year and we were making progress to get what Trump wanted..........then Israel jumped in the middle of it by bombing them in June 2025, and got Donald Trump to bomb then.
Then, they had conceded to Donald Trump again at the end of February in 2026, agreeing to draw down their enriched uranium and getting ready to close the deal that Trump wanted........then Israel intervened again to sabotage the deal because Netanyahu could not have a peace agreement between the United States and Israel and Netanyahu OWNS Donald Trump.

It's complete hogwash to claim that Iran was on the verge of having a nuclear bomb. Our own Intelligence Agency's comprehensive report in March of 2025 insisted that Iran was NOT developing it's nuclear weapons. Then again, earlier this month Tulsi Gabbards written testimony confirmed that just a month ago, Iran was NOT developing its nuclear weapons and they were monitoring it closely for any signs of that changing.

I totally get that the regime in Iran is evil to the core and its a good thing to hurt them.
Even if I thought the reward was anything close to the risk(other than countries in the Middle East that will benefit from this-mostly Israel but neighbors too)and the reality is that the harm to the world is numerous orders of magnitude greater than the benefits to the world(especially the United States that was not provoked or being threatened-just the opposite with Iran giving Trump what he wanted) the LAST person and administration I would want to be in charge here is the one doing it.
Anybody, anytime, any party but Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth.
Donald Trump is all over the place about everything. It changes daily, sometimes hourly.
He doesn't even know what to call it. A war. Then an incursion. Then back to a war. Then "a military operation" today. Calling it "perfect" yesterday. Claiming he already won the war one day then he's going to obliterate Iran the next day. Claiming no boots on the ground 1 day, then something different the next day. Claiming that Iran gave him a wonderful gift yesterday, then claiming he's going to unleash hell on them today.
The most powerful man in the world is an unstable, unhinged lunatic that has no idea from day to day on what his plan is.

The majority of our allies........Canada, Great Britain, Denmark and dozens of others can't trust Donald Trump. Why would our enemy that Donald Trump attacked, unprovoked and unjustified in the middle of negotiations that were working 2 TIMES NOW, ever trust Donald Trump?
This makes it nearly impossible to make a deal. But that was the point of this war. Israel had to STOP the deal that was on the verge of happening and would have with any other president.

His biggest problem is the total belief that Donald Trump is invincible which blinds him to consequence of his ruinous decisions. For instance, he had no clue, NONE that this would result in gas prices spiking over $1 and the stock market crashing. Near 0% chance that he would have done something to massively hurt his #1, top priorities at home.
Lying, and saying that he thought it was going to be even worse, makes him look even worse but it helps us to see into the mind of a delusional psychopath. There's a good chance that his pathologically thinking mind by definition of the delusion is NOW convinced that he KNEW that this would happen. His mind does this with EVERYTHING to line up with how that mind interprets every decision that Donald Trump makes............infallible.
Here's the take home point and why Donald Trump is such a dangerous man. When he considers options, by definition of his pathological thinking he is always right. He will ignore risks and negative consequences because his mind tells him that he is omnipotent and can't be wrong. Even AFTER a horrible decision fails miserably by every standard he will twist the outcome to be "the greatest ever" or "winning by alot" and his pathologically thinking mind actually believes it.
The vast majority of politicians will constantly put spins on everything to line up with their political agenda. But they usually understand the difference between the truth and how they are spinning it to their benefit for their political gain. It appears as if this administration has decided that since their initial, stated mission to overthrow the leadership in Iran has failed and they continue to lie about Israel starting this war to stop the successful negotiating with the US and Iran that the narrative is going to be that we saved the world from Iran's nuclear weapons which is an indisputably proven lie based on our Intelligence departments testifying under oath that Iran was NOT advancing the nuclear weapons program this year OR last year.

Iran had agreed to reduce its enriched uranium..............then, Israel bombed Iran to sabotage the peace agreement……claiming that Iran was days away from having nuclear bombs that would be used to attack them and they had no choice but to do this to defend themselves. Even after claiming the same thing last June to justify attacks that had by Donald Trumps accounts obliterated their nuclear program and Israel’s accounts, made the Middle East a safer place.

However, I feel confident that Donald Trump is probably ignorant about this and that, more likely his bluster and constant extreme threats are posturing in attempting to make people think he's in control, when the complete opposite is the case. I got an update from my Iranian-American friend today:
1. He and many Iranian-Americans are hoping that Trump doesn’t go through with his threats to take out power and especially water desalination. If these things are done, they would violate international law obviously and innocent Iranians, especially poor and unhealthy ones, would die whereas the mullahs would be ok due to them having their own source of drinking water. So, they wouldn’t budge as they’re evil and don’t care about the citizens.
Furthermore, Iran would then probably do the same to the Gulf states causing an even bigger mess. Also, Iran would get increased international support from countries like China and Russia. My friend is rather worried.
2. Instead, they’d prefer US/Israel concentrate on killing regime members and go after military targets, rather than civilian infrastructure, if war’s to continue.
3. He and other Iranians/Iranian Americans were at first optimistic about the possibility of regime change after the ayatollah was killed. But then after his and other killings and the ruthless regime remained intact, they then realized that the regime is more entrenched/deeper than they ever thought. Thus they then lost almost all hope for regime change. They still hate the regime!
4. Iran has 50 states like the U.S. Each state is ruled by evil mullahs. That would mean somehow being able to remove the national mullah regime from power (doubtful) would still leave the 50 states!
5. He’s not optimistic about the mullahs giving up much of anything in peace talks, including opening up the Strait to like it was before. During the last two peace talks, they were still attacked and that hurts the prospects. Plus the mullahs aren’t concerned if the war continues as they now feel safe. A good # were killed earlier due to the war then being a surprise. Now they’re hiding.
6. They have no idea whether or not the ayatollah’s son is alive. He thinks that it oddly enough may be to the mullahs’ advantage if he’s dead because they could continue to pretend he isn’t without people knowing. If he were alive, he could then be killed and the US/Israel declare that a victory.
7. US/Israel should have attacked in January. They would have then had a legit reason per the rest of the world and thus much more outside support.
8. He doesn’t see the citizens trying to protest again after 30K+ were murdered. Also, they’d have little chance to successfully revolt due to having no guns. He wishes Iranians were armed like is the case here. Thus he has a newfound respect for the 2nd Amendment despite not owning a gun.
9. Even if the citizens were given guns by U.S./Israel, it’s not that easy because it would still take time for them to be able to use them effectively in revolt due to needing training.

Iran has agreed to allow vessels to pass for the next 2 weeks with coordination with Iran's army.
Trust me on this. His threats this morning to Iran, did not result in Iran's leaders getting scared and negotiating. It had the opposite impact. This was just the mouth of the most powerful man, unfit for office causing market chaos. We could have negotiated a cease fire at any time for the past few weeks without President Trump's lunatic comments.

Forget all those other objectives that Donald Trump told us at various times. Now, the objective is only to get the Strait of Hormuz back to where it was BEFORE the war. Before the unintended consequences of his unprovoked war caused us to lose it.
BEFORE the war, we had a nuclear agreement with Iran to reduce it's nuclear stock pile. Now we don't and this deal does nothing about that. So the war made that much worse. Iran is no longer interested in reducing its enriched uranium like it had agreed to before the war.
Before the war, Iran did NOT have control of the Strait of Hormuz. Now they do and this 2 week deal continues to leave them in control. So the war and deal made it much worse than before the war for every country in the world by an extremely wide margin.
Before the war, Iran was led by a bunch of radical fanatics that were sponsoring terrorism in the Middle East and had killed their own people but were no threat to the United States(mainly to Israel and their own people). Now, they are led by even more radicals that will be on a mission of vengeance against the United States because of our unprovoked attacks in the middle of negotiations in June 2025 and again this time after the Bibi Netanyahu manipulated Donald Trump into betraying Americans and the Iranians to get his over the top adulation. So the war made this MUCH worse for the United States and gained nothing for anybody.
The one area where there was success is with GREATLY degrading Iran's ability to strike Israel so the main benefit from this war was to lessen the future threat to Israel.
Basically, Iran has Donald Trump by the balls with their control of the Strait of Hormuz and his extreme threats over the weekend and earlier today were a complete BS smokescreen(that telegraphed his weakness to Iran) because Donald Trump just gave in to the demands that Iran has been asking for weeks in order to get the Strait of Hormuz open...........something that we had BEFORE the war.

I totally get why you hold your current belief system! People wouldn't tune into Fox(that has blockbuster #1 ratings) unless they wanted to be told about a world that doesn't exist but lines up with what they want to believe in.......with the faith of a religion.

I mentioned this previously. Donald Trump is a regular viewer of Fox. Fox uses this over the top adulation to control him as much as brainwash viewers in the MAGA cult. I previously had reworded my description to make Mark Levin less evil but further observations and analysis has resulted in better discernment. Mark Levin IS evil in my opinion! All of his propaganda and lies are way more than reporting evil. He constantly manufactures what he knows are lies and intentionally elevates evil to a religious faith.
