Over 25,000,000 people having had COVID and over 7% of the US population. This is as good as being vaccinated for them. Latest data is below. Numbers likely have peaked!! New daily cases have dropped from 260,000/day to under 200,000/day in the last 11 days. Deaths and hospitalizations also falling.

Here’s another reminder of why them not telling us to get N95 masks is so absurd.
Why would we continue to save the only masks that actually protect us for health care workers when all the health care workers have had the opportunity to be vaccinated if they want?
Some have refused the vaccine because of ignorance and fear but it’s way past time to start giving smart advice and telling the truth to the public.
We didn’t get it from Trump and sadly, we still aren’t getting it now.
No wonder people are so messed up not knowing what to believe.
Half the stuff out there is not accurate or honest information/facts. it’s information designed to affect your perception of the facts.

Don't mind a bit stepping in at times like this with documented facts.
When the human cognitive bias, causes you guys to mischaracterize others(me in this case and Trumps actions) and make blatantly biased, misleading statements that describe a situation totally different than the reality so that it lines up to support their position. Maybe you don't even realize you are doing............so this will help you.
Trump was "loose with the truth" for much of 4 years and never deserved being impeached. However, note below (once again) my description of what he did for 2 months after the election.

You're totally mischaracterizing what really happened to justify your position.
Instead, why don't we use what actually happened.
For 2 months, Trump tried to sell the stolen election lie everyday. He used hundreds of people and paid millions of dollars that made frivolous allegations and even proven fraudulent allegations to try to trick people into thinking that the most secure election in US history was actually stolen from him........and showed ZERO evidence of systemic fraud that could have come close to overturning any of the states that he targeted with his diabolical scheme.
All his legal challenges were lost, some were laughable but at least most were legal. What he did in the above paragraph was create permanent damage to the credibility of future election results and ramp up divisiveness and........where he should be held accountable, he enraged and encouraged tens of millions of supporters, some to the point of taking actions.
Every time that he was proven conclusively wrong by every objective standard............and there were many dozens at least, his response was to reject the proof and continue with the false narrative of the election being stolen from him and trying to sell lies to his supporters the entire time.
He even tried to use his influence/power as president to pressure elected officials(GA phone call for instance) to change the results for him.
I think that Trump, who already had a touch of functional delusion, which was just hurting his credibility before.........had something snap in his brain after this loss as he was clearly clinically delusional and probably believed alot of the hogwash, despite having zero evidence.
However, his mental illness does not excuse him from the behavior and massive damage that he caused from 2 MONTHS worth of a contrived/intentional actions......not just "making a speech"
Sadly, I believe a large part of your distorted views on what happened comes from the sources that you go to.
Just like CNN brainwashes people to hate Trump, Trump supporters go to sources that brainwash people with false information about Trumps actions after the election. Many of them pushed the "stolen election" false narrative.
I know this because they were presented here as evidence during that period dozens of times. I busted them every time, with help from Larry and joj, often showing they were faked or dishonest. Not one of them held water or were proven to be systemic or major.
Then, the same person, a couple weeks later(or even days) would be back repeating the exact same thing here that was indisputably debunked earlier.

I believe all the disinformation sites pounding fake facts/news into peoples heads who want to hear that news..........so they are vulnerable/very receptive.
These sites sound/read convincing and in todays world of manufactured realities, we don't know who/what to believe.......so we believe the things that line up with our belief systems.
Even well respected MSM sources participate in INTERPRETING the news and presenting it as objective vs just reporting it with unbiased facts.
Forget any of this news. Wear an N95 mask outside of your house and wash your hands when outside in areas where you might have touched something with the virus.
And get vaccinated ASAP! I've been wearing only N95 masks from the start of the pandemic and get my first COVID shot tomorrow............with my 85 year old monther in law, who I had to convince that it was safe.

I documented his crazy statements after becoming president in late January at the start of this thread and his speech last night was not just a continuation of manufactured, fake facts, patting himself on the back for things his predecessor was responsible for, totally covering up the enormity of the wonderful news, 75% drop in COVID in just 2 months, giving more bad advice and justifying the abuse of peoples freedoms and absurdly, blaming it on Trump.
Acting like this was actually not so unusual for Trump, who blatantly abused the truth with more frequency than any president in history............but he was ALWAYS held accountable by the MSM, who would even add truthful things that Trump stated to the list because people often couldn't tell the difference(I could and would point those times out).
Regardless, the MSM has decided to treat Biden like he's the COVID president God now.
It wasn't just a few minor things.............he described most of the major things totally inaccurately and nobody noticed???
I will speculate a guess.
He is doing what Trump did but at the other extreme end. Alot of his actions and policies seem to intentionally be the complete opposite of Trumps.Trump was way too positive/optimistic and misled us about how bad it really was in the Spring/Summer of 2000.
There is legit reason to be very excited right now based on rock solid facts/evidence but Biden is determined to paint a picture of gloom and tells us we are still in trouble/not out of the woods.
This is not true. There is a near 0% chance that COVID numbers will ever get anywhere close to where they were 2 months ago and probably near 0% chance of getting even half of what they were.
We have been emerging from the deep dark tunnel and what would help most people the most is optimism based on the facts/truth.
Very odd. Trump told us it wasn't that bad when it was really bad. Biden tells us its still really bad when its looking MUCH, MUCH better.
Suicides, depression, alcoholism, drug addiction and things related to those realms have been soaring over the last year...........because people lost many things, including hope.
Bidens hope last night was that if we do exactly like he tells us for another 4 months, maybe he'll tell us we can have small groups of family getting together by July 4th.
There is 100%, absolute certainty that COVID will not be able to spread like it did before when most of the population is vaccinated and much of the rest of the population had it already.
That's the science man. That's the truth man. It's already taking a massive toll on COVID numbers.
Despite the dumb advice of not telling people to wear N95 masks, we are vaccinating many tens of millions of people. How can this NOT end up with COVID numbers continuing to plunge?
We also shouldn't have the widespread protesting that spread COVID to at least many tens of thousands last Summer.
