I’m against vandalism/destruction of property. So, I don’t like the vandalism done to the Reflecting Pool! However, is there a double standard (DS) where I bolded? I’ll see if anyone else can point out why I’m saying DS.

This one is so bizarre. What vandalism would cause massive, NATURAL algae blooms?
Understanding plants/agronomy and chemistry, the main thing might be if somebody dumped a bunch of phosphorus and nitrogen in the pool.
They certainly have camera's and no question, have tested the water repeatedly so if that was the reason, we would know with certainty and have heard about it.

The difference between vandalism of the lawn and FAKE vandalism of the pool and the Insurrection(that resulted in deaths and an impossible to measure scale of political division and violations of the Constitution) is a zillion times worse on January 6th!
And making it so much worse is that Donald Trump's attempts to overturn the results of the most proven secure election in history, was TREASON against the United States!
