1. He was a hero for coming out to record the actions of ICE to hold them accountable.
2. He was a hero for coming to the aid of a woman that ICE was attacking.
3. He was a hero for not using the gun to defend himself against ICE agents that were wrongfully beating the heck out of him, after he did absolutely nothing wrong. He could have shot a couple of those agents but choose not to.
What if Alex was a Republican and had pulled out the gun and defended himself by shooting his attackers, what would be the response by R party?
We don't need to speculate because we can look at what they did after Rittenhouse did that.
Instead, Alex showed amazing restrained and likely SAVED THE LIVES of his attackers by NOT pulling out his gun to shoot them in justifiable self defense.
Now the most insane part. Trump and his minions, intentionally manufactured blatant, despicable lies that described the complete opposite scenario of what happened, with Alex being a bad guy/terrorist there to assassinate ICE agents. ICE agents just doing their jobs and defending themselves from the lethal threat which Alex supposedly caused.

Rs in Congress NOT removing him ASAP from that same process will assure the country of the next president being from the D party.
I've always thought that 2027 was the most likely year for his removal but that was BEFORE the war in Iran. Odds now are elevated for him to be impeached in 2026 by his own party.

MAGA is a POLITICAL cult. It's doing tremendous damage to our country, the world and the R party, not so much the individual members in the cult. I am NOT suggesting an attempted intervention to get a MAGA friend out of the cult. Just the opposite. In most cases, your MAGA friend has a God given right to have opinions, that will determine how they vote which makes them no more powerful than you or me with our 1 vote in our Democracy.
On the other hand, I can make a strong case for Fox news, as a powerful MAGA cult high priest selling divisive hate and lies for block buster ratings to be doing tremendous damage to our country because are selling lies, propaganda and harmful messages to many millions of Americans.
However, it's not worth losing a close friend/relative by judging them for watching Fox, while trying to change their television viewing habits.

This is to not knock the Old Testament or my 2 good Jewish friends here or promote a particular religion.... but just to prove that Donald Trump CAN'T BE for the Gospels if his favorite bible passage is an "eye for an eye"
The Gospels were all about the teachings of JESUS that elaborated on the Old Testament and in some cases, pointed out flaws that he perceived. One of them was the teaching against revenge in the form of an "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" that was taught and practiced before him.
Jesus gave us new principles based on love and forgiveness that replaced that. Accepting people different than us. Stressing the need for helping the poor and less fortunate(Donald Trump takes from the poor and gives to the rich). This was all recorded with parables and detailed accounts of his new paradigm in the 4 Gospels!
If your favorite passage is the complete opposite of what Jesus taught in his 4 Gospels, you can't be about the Gospels.

Regarding "An eye for an eye" in the Old Testament. From a modern interpretation this sounds like revenge and that the New Testament is about love. But taken in the context of its time it is actually a progressive idea. If someone steals some sheep from your flock, you don't kill their family. The punishment should fit the crime.
Netanyahu clearly didn't get that biblical lesson when he committed war crimes in Gaza in response to the massacre on Oct 7th.
