Russia hints at peace

During an outing on Saturday, Lavrov said that the Kremlin "recognized the sovereignty of Ukraine on the basis of the Declaration of Independence which it adopted upon leaving the USSR."

The Foreign Affairs Minister added: "One of the main points for us was that Ukraine would be a non-aligned country and would not enter into any military alliances.

"Under those conditions, we support the territorial integrity of this state."

Ukrainian neutrality has long been a matter of contention between Kyiv and Russia, with the latter's attempts to increasingly align itself with the European Union and other Western nations repeatedly thwarted by Moscow.

"Ukraine's 1990 Declaration of State Sovereignty does indeed proclaim Ukraine to be a 'permanently neutral state that does not participate in military blocs'," George Mason University Schar School of Policy and Government professor Mark N. Katz said.

He told Newsweek: "Lavrov's statement, then, does imply that Moscow would recognize Ukraine's 1990 borders if Ukraine foreswore membership in NATO."

Vladimir Putin cited NATO's alleged expansionistic plot as a key factor in his decision to launch what he first called a "special operation" into Ukraine.

Thanks much, cutworm!

This has been Russia/Putin's case going back well before the war.

All they've wanted is to Ukraine to declare they will NEVER become part of NATO.

That's it folks. No kidding.

The entire war could have been avoided if Zelensky and Biden had not told him to shove it at the end of 2021/start of 2022 and agreed to these terms. They have never changed!

Biden WANTED THIS WAR. Absolutely, 100% positive.

His objective from the get go was to weaken Russia, sacrificing Ukraine/Ukrainians to do it. 100% sure of that!

Interestingly, Mike Pence mentioned this exactly in last night's debate as the main reason for us to continue the war.....to weaken Russia.

Both parties are bought and paid for by the military industrial party and have rotting brains when it comes to their mentality which heartlessly disregards human lives and suffering on such a monumental scale to serve their political agenda.

The reason that we don't know this is because the government and media propaganda lying to us the past 2 years will not tell us the truth.

Many reading that article will have high hopes because this would appear to be breaking news. However, Biden and Zelensky and NATO have been vehemently rejecting these terms for 2+ years and we just didn't know about it because they haven't wanted us to know about it.

However, I'm  very hopeful because the propaganda has run out of steam with lies that can't be hidden much longer. Ukraine's army has been killed off (as they knew it would) to the point where they can't hold up much longer and it's served the purpose of weakening Russia as they planned.

Ukraine NEVER had the chance to win this war. The only reason everybody thought they did was from constant bs war propaganda and the media colluding instead  of doing their jobs as professional journalists!

This is no overstatement. It's a sad reality of what has happened and the pathetic, powerful gatekeepers who control all the false narratives and manufactured realities to serve their purposes.

The fake climate crisis is the exact same thing!
