The Border Patrol is overwhelmed and helpless. In some states they are now asking private citizen to help volunteer

I got to watch Rev. Al Sharpton on CNBC for the first time this afternoon. Was curious to listen/watch his program.
Pretty clear, according to him and his guest that Trump and republicans are responsible for the border crisis and we need to open our doors wide to let all these people in.........because this is who we are......a country of immigrants, with open borders for more immigrants.
This is how we've always been since we started this nation and we need to continue those same policies of our great/generous ancestors.....allowing people from all around the world in....... regardless of their country of origin.

These same people from the exact same side have been telling us emphatically for the past year that these exact same ancestors they are putting up on a pedestel for this agenda, were slave holding racists that discrimminated against minorities.
They have been eliminating thousands of statutes, monuments, street names and school names that were put up to honor these horrible people that don't deserve it because ............. they went with the flow of society in the US and the world at the time and participated in slavery.
Slavery was very wrong but judging ALL people living in primitive times by our advanced moral standards in 2021 is just as messed up as suggesting immigration in 2021 should be just like it was in 1821 or even 1921.
Sharpton and his guest really cracked me up with their discussion on COVID. The guy who helped get the vaccine to the market in record time with operation warp speed and was the worlds biggest "vaccination will crush COVID cheerleader"....the sooner we can all get vaccinated the better..............and was bashed constantly for months.........and people were told the vaccine would not be safe because Trump pushed the FDA to over look standards/protocol and it wouldn't be vetted/tested well.......remember that guy and his treatment much of last year?
Al and pals now want us to forget all that and believe that people are refusing to get vaccinated BECAUSE OF Trump.
Trump is the one slowing the process down, even now to try to hurt Biden...........who has rescued us with his new COVID rules.
