Sen. John Fetterman says he’ll leave the Democratic Party if it ‘officially’ becomes ‘anti-Israel’

The Pennsylvania Democrat laid out a red line that would cause him to quit his party, although he didn’t say whether he would become an independent or a Republican.

Earth to Fetterman: We all know that you left the D party years ago.

Democrats have a Fetterman problem. Or do they? | Opinion

I would bet my house that if Fetterman ran as a D again in 2028 he would lose by a  landslide.

Just look at what happened when this diabolical man came to the United States to speak to our morally bankrupt, bought and paid for (by the military-industrial-Jewish lobbyists)  R politicians:

A standingovation to genocide

The applause for a leader who has officially killed over 39,000 people since Oct. 7 has gone down in history as a significant stain on humanity for those applauding.

The prime minister of a state accused of committing genocide in Gaza was applauded 79 times, 58 of which were standingovations, by the U.S. Congress.

Israel's massacres, as evidenced by the U.N. General Assembly, the Human Rights Council's decisions and the ICJ ruling, a truly independent and impartial international judiciary, have clearly shown that Israel has violated international law, committed acts contrary to human rights, and engaged in behavior unbecoming of human dignity.

The ICJ prosecutor has requested the arrest of Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Despite all these international legal decisions, Netanyahu's invitation to the U.S. Congress has driven the ...

Democratic Sen. John Fetterman has more support among Pa. Republicans than GOP Sen. Dave McCormick, new poll shows

But the vast majority of the first-term Democrat’s support comes from voters in the opposing party: 77% of surveyed Republicans said they approve of Fetterman while just 19% of Democrats do.

This makes Fetterman's threat to leave the D party comical. If he ran as a D in 2028, Bozo the Clown would defeat him in the D primary..........by a record landslide.

He can finish off his last 2+ years in the Senate as a fake D or be honest and call himself something different, like an R. Then run as an R in 2028.  However, threatening the D party, to do something he did a long time ago, on his own without the D party causing it because HE changed(maybe from brain damage from his stroke), NOT the D party is just more Fetterman credibility damaging nonsense.

Hey Mike,

Though many of the lobbyists are Jewish, not nearly all of them are. There’s a pretty good # who are Christians. There may even be more who are Christian than Jewish for all I know.

What Fetterman may be mixed up on is “anti-Israel” vs “anti-Bibi coalition”. Most of these Dems who are against the additional $ aren’t anti-Israel by any means. Anti-Israel means being against the continued existence of the state of Israel.

Thanks for elaborating those points, Larry!

Makes great sense to me.

It's usually hard to distinguish between anti Israel and anti Netanyahu for many people.

Just like with this survey for the United States below. Are all these people now anti American or are they just anti Donald Trump???

I would say that for many of them, it does hand in hand.

Trump Gets Negative Reviews Internationally as Fewer Say U.S. Is a Reliable Partner

36-country survey finds declining ratings for the U.S. amid rising concerns about its foreign policy and the health of its democracy

https://www.pewresearch.org/global/2026/06/23/trump-gets-negative-reviews-internationally-as-fewer-say-u-s-is-a-reliable-partner/

metmike: Blue=UNreliable below

Our neighbor and closest ally, Canada for instance has gone from having just 16% of their people seeing  the United States as UNreliable before Donald Trump's presidency, up to 65% now........and rising.

That's 4 times higher and the MAJORITY. Entirely the result of Donald Trump's profoundly failing foreign policies.

This is stunning and easily unprecedented AND GLOBAL and extremely damaging.

The leader of a country and their policies was elected by the people of that country so most people, logically will blame the country responsible. Unless you already view that country very favorably(or unfavorably),  the leader will play the biggest role in  determining how other people feel about the country, it's policies and it's people.

Since you and I and the majority of Americans are stuck with Donald Trump's leadership very much against our belief system, we can clearly see how it would be unfair to judge all the people by their leader.

The reality is that they do during the time of that leaders ruinous reign. We elected him.  this isn't Iran where we can separate the 10s of millions of good people from the diabolical mullahs that have dictatorships.

The US and Israel are democracies. We the people elected these guys. We the people are responsible.........until we the people make things right and get rid of them. The longer that takes, the more the rest of the world gets impatient with us and blames us for allowing them to wreak havoc on the world.

That's why its of paramount importance for Donald Trump to be REMOVED FROM OFFICE via impeachment.

That is the ONLY clear message that America can send to the rest of the world that Donald Trump does NOT represent who we are.

Allowing him to finish 4 years is a message of the opposite mentality. Whether most Americans agree with him or not, ALLOWING HIM to stay in office means that Americans were not outraged enough with his behavior to remove him. And it was only us that have the ability to make that decision, so it should be only us held responsible for what he does.

Same with people's view of Israel right now. Netanyahu has been an extremely powerful force for 2 decades now.

Who should we blame? Just 1 man? Just 1 party? or the people in that democracy that have the power to put him in that position, then keep him in that position while he violates ethical standards and lies about everything.
