A true pioneer of cable news. Where would cable news be without him?  He also was a longtime owner of the Atlanta Braves and Hawks. He also managed the Braves for one day!

May Ted RIP.

Of course, Donald Trump had to do like he always does and give the world a totally toxic, self serving message delivered at the most inappropriate times because he completely lacks empathy for people.

When somebody dies, he uses it to provide messages that exploit his self serving interests instead of showing sincere sympathy for people that are suffering the loss of somebody special.

What makes this especially egregious is that he lies about the deceased and assigns fake traits or positions or beliefs that they never had to make them line up with supporting him or in some cases opposing him, which causes a personal attack on the dead person.

Trump claims Ted Turner was 'devastated' CNN became 'woke'

Donald Trump: "Ted Turner, one of the Greats of All Time, just died. He founded CNN, sold it, and was personally devastated by the Deal because the new ownership took CNN, his ‘baby,' and destroyed it. It became woke, and everything that he is not all about," Trump posted on this Truth Social account.

Turner sold CNN to Time Warner in 1996, as part of a deal for Turner Broadcasting System, and CNN was valued at around $2.8 billion, the AP reported.

But Turner has not criticized CNN for any perceived political bias in its coverage.

In October 2012, he told Charlie Rose on "CBS This Morning" that he would like "to see more emphasis on hard news and international news and a little less fluff" on CNN. In that interview, Turner also said about that year's race for U.S. president that "I like Obama's policies better" than Republican candidate Mitt Romney, because Obama is "better on the environment and really and truly wants to end the wars."

A stronger statement AGAINST what Donald Trump is all about in 2026 could not be made!!!!

That was an objective analysis above by me based on the solid principles of psychiatric science, discussed previously and confirmed over and over and over at times like this!
