One of the students on the 3rd place team this year, Parth Patel is a gifted chess player, who now attends Signature High School!  He's one of the top chess players in the state of Indiana!

I wondered why he missed the Scholastic Chess of Indiana championships (last Saturday) on that same date........until I found out that he finished 3rd in this more important endeavor.
