The only chance for Trump to show is that this could be an impossible for him to resist temptation of being there for an event that he sees as one where he would be adulated and they would showcase his omnipotence and infallibility.
Of course that is hogwash but with Trumps pathological thinking and grandeur-ism, this would be the only chance...........he lives for being adulated and his biggest thrills, by far are when he conducts rallies in person with massive crowds cheering his every word.
Seriously, I don't know. Maybe he realizes that they will have too much control and people will be confronting him and think the complete opposite but the point is, that it just depends on how Trump perceives it relative to the above mentality of his described personality traits.

if trump doesn’t show up, he could become very vulnerable to attacks from most people that use it as proof of trumps being afraid to debate.…or That his agenda can’t stack up,
if that happens and trump loses a lot of his lead in the polls, you’d see trump at the next debate!
