So a question is........Why isn't Biden retiring when almost everybody can see he's well past his prime?

There are some extremely sharp 80+ year olds out there.  Bernie Sanders for instance, so its not just age, it's cognitive ability. Bernie is as sharp as ever!

Bernard  Sanders (born September 8, 1941) is an American politician serving as the senior United States senator from Vermont, a seat he has held since 2007.

Can you tell the difference between Biden in 2023, fading fast before our eyes and ears and Biden in his prime?

Joe Biden just has a stutter that's always been there?

And arthritis in his spine?

Judge for yourself:

Hey Mike,

I agree with you that being in your 80s doesn't mean the mind can't remain sharp.

In addition to Sanders, here are examples of public figures in their low to mid 80s for whom I feel their minds are likely still rather sharp:

-Dr. Fauci

-Jim Clyburn

-Mitch McConnell

-Stenny Hoyer

-Harrison Ford

-Morgan Freeman

-Patrick Stewart

-Jack Nicklaus

-Jimmy Carter

-Pope Francis

In the past:

-Jack Benny

-George Burns

-Bob Hope

-Betty White

-George HW Bush

-Queen Elizabeth

-Nelson Mandela

-Shimon Peres

-Pope Benedict

Many folks retain sharp minds into their middle 80s though a good number of those lose some of that sharpness by 90 or so.

I was tempted to show some good supplements that provide brain nutrition but this field is crowded with flawed research and useless, expensive supplements from entities that take huge advantage of people being extremely motivated to preserve their brain power and WANTING TO BELIEVE in things that tell them how to do it.

I feel this study does a great job with a comprehensive discussion about lots of great  foods with wonderful nutrients likely to help the brain but this is NOT definitive.
