Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in response to Hersh’s report that Moscow has “repeatedly expressed” its belief that the US and NATO were involved in the explosions.
Prior to the invasion, President Biden had threatened that the Nord Stream 2 project connecting Russia and Germany would not move forward if an attack took place, causing some to suspect US involvement when the pipelines exploded seven months later.
“If Russia invades — that means tanks or troops crossing the border of Ukraine, again — then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2,” Biden said on Feb. 7, 2022. “We will bring an end to it.”
While Germany initially resisted canceling the project, it halted the pipeline’s certification two days before the Russian invasion in a last-ditch effort to prevent the war.
Hersh’s report suggested Biden ordered the explosions to stop Russian President Vladimir Putin from “weaponiz[ing] natural gas for his political and territorial ambitions,” as Germany — and the rest of Europe — relied heavily on Russia for natural gas.
Without the pipelines, Europe would be forced to end its reliance on Moscow, starving Russia of billions of dollars that could have been contributed to its war effort, the report alleged.

4. Whoever did this will NEVER admit to it under any circumstances. And they discussed the operation plans to do it with only a select, tiny number of people key to pulling it off. All the individual sources accused of doing it, deny doing it. All of them are telling the truth......except the one(s) that actually did it are lying.
5. It's extremely unlikely that the ones lying about doing it will suddenly come forward. This is probably the best we'll ever get unless a whistle blower, risks their job, credibility, life and potential criminal charges comes forward.

NATO is clearly exploiting the killing by Putin to advance it's cause. The more Ukrainian deaths, the worse it makes him look and the greater the need to remove him, which is their objective. Them offering up many thousands of victims in Ukraine for the cause of vilifying and destroying Putin is morally reprehensible.
Some no brainer negotiating to save all those lives could have been done but they chose this path.
We shouldn't let the convincing propaganda mislead us. This war was absolutely preventable but it would have required Ukraine agreeing to NOT join NATO and possibly a few other concessions that were a million times less catastrophic to the people living in Ukraine.

U.S. intelligence was too quick to leak information about the German investigation to The New York Times. It raises the distinct impression that the real culprit is nervous about the investigative work of Seymour Hersh.
The problem with both the German reporting and that of The New York Times (whose source was clearly referring to the same data reported by the German reporters) is that the Andromeda narrative doesn’t hold water.
Take, for instance, the Tom Clancy-like tale of derring-do that has four allegedly Ukraine-affiliated divers defy physiology by conducting dives that would require the use of a decompression chamber for them to survive an ascent of 240 feet (the depth of the Nord Stream pipelines that were destroyed). A rule of thumb is that decompression takes approximately one day per 100 feet of seawater plus a day.
This means that the team of divers would have required three days of decompression per dive. But to decompress, one needs a decompression chamber. For a dive involving two divers, the Andromeda would have to have been outfitted with either a two-person Class A decompression chamber, or two single-person Class B chambers, as well as the number of large oxygen bottles needed to operate these chambers over time. \
A simple examination of the interior cabin space of the Bavarian C50 yacht would quickly dispossess one of any notion that either option was viable.
Simply put — no decompression chamber, no dive, no story.

We went from a deficit vs the prior year of -349 BCF in early September to a surplus of 504 BCF on this report. +853 BCF added to storage compared to the previous year in just over 6 months! It's very hard to comprehend how a thing is even possible without some sort of profound intervention to stimulate natural gas production by a powerful entity.

1. They initially blamed Russian and pushed that story line. This is a trick from propaganda 101. Be the first one to plant an explanation in peoples heads, then repeat it numerous times. Once somebody thinks they know something, it's hard for them to change their minds.
2. Cy Hersch's credibility and detailed descriptions completely explain it.
3. The alternative explanations, after Cy's being impossible, tell us that they are just entities making stuff up(because the alternatives are impossible) to try to confuse people and get them to think the US might not have done it.
4. The media isn't curious to know who really did it because they know the answer. If Trump was president and did this, there would have been headlines for weeks and calls investigations and impeachment.
5. The constant position by the West is that everything Russia does is wrong, they are the only ones pushing false propaganda and lies and committing crimes.
