The Ukrainian government will present a bill prohibiting religious organizations allegedly affiliated with Russia.
They're doing this for "spiritual independence" from Russia.
Right, we wouldn't want the God of Russians to infiltrate into Ukrainian society. Only the God of Ukaine is allowed in Ukraine (-:
So Ukrainians must follow the Christian faiths that the government/Zelensky condones in Ukraine. His fight for freedom includes persecuting those who worship the wrong faith in Ukraine.
Sounds exactly like it's coming right out of the playbook of President Putin.
It would be one thing if he was cracking down on suspected illegal activity in the church or elsewhere
But he's banning a religious organization that worships their God, not the suspected criminal activity.
I get the reason behind it. He wants to win the war and thinks that people affiliated with anything from Russia could spread negative vibes in Ukrainian society.
How ironic though. The religious intolerance and decree that only Ukrainian condoned Christian churches will be allowed is supposedly a mindset that he wants us to think that he’s fighting against and not actually imposing on his own people.
