Climate Alarmists Conceal Global Temperature Anomaly Measurement Declines Despite Increasing Atmospheric CO2

https://wattsupwiththat.com/2022/01/17/climate-alarmists-conceal-global-temperature-anomaly-measurement-declines-despite-increasing-atmospheric-co2/

I'm not saying that there isn't still a trend upward in global temperatures. Just that it's NOT catastrophic........in fact has been almost entirely beneficial to most life and it's MUCH less than the "accelerating temps creating a crisis" false narrative.

So we didn't have any global warming the last 5 years by every legit scientific measurement.  Did any stories in the media change from the dangerous warming, hottest ever, unprecedented blah, blah, blah caused by unrelenting man made global warming as a result of burning fossil fuels??

In fact, they got everything the complete opposite of the reality. Look at the blue shades below........La Nina. They are associated with global cooling because they are COLD water anomalies in the east/central tropical Pacific.  Global warming can't cause water temperatures to get colder. Global warming causes more EL NINO'S! Look at the reds on the chart below...........those are El Nino's.

During the past 5 years, many of these extreme weather events blamed on global warming(that causes more El Ninos-warmer water) were actually caused by the 100% opposite reason.......a global cooling La Nina!

CO2 continues higher!

Global temperatures did NOT go higher the last 5 years(because of the natural, cooling La Nina)

Global warming cannot cause cool temperature anomalies in the east/central tropical Pacific. That’s what a La Nina is………COOLER water. El Nino’s are warmer water………just look at the peaks of red on the graph. Every single one was caused by an EL NINO, which spiked global temperatures higher. They burp out massive amounts of heat from the Pacific into the atmosphere.

Blue La Nina’s, like we’ve been experiencing recently do the exact opposite to global temperatures. They cause LESS heat to come out of the Pacific Ocean(that has most of the heat stored in the atmosphere/oceans) into the atmosphere. They are always associated with global cooling.

Recent extreme weather events, droughts, wildfires and so on being blamed on global warming is the opposite of the truth.
The state of the Pacific Ocean and affect on the atmosphere has been in and out of a natural La Nina and it resulted in slight global cooling which was GREATER than any global warming  caused by an increase in CO2 during that period.

Droughts in the US, like the long lived one recently out West to the Plains are greatly correlated with La Nina’s………just like the long lived La Nina that we have.  El Nino’s correlate strongly to LESS drought and MORE precip…..and global warming.

Global warming/El Nino’s result in LESS drought in the US. Very strong correlation!

+PDO = More El Nino’s = Global warming accelerates
-PDO = More La Nina’s = Global warming stalls out/pauses

The -PDO in the 50’s/60’s/mid 70’s resulted in modest global cooling.
The +PDO regime in the 80’s/90’s accelerated global warming.
The -PDO regime since then, has slowed down the rate of global warming…completely stalled the last 5 years.
