I have a friend who would like to invest in single stocks either buying small amounts weekly or bi-weekly and then

holding them (this is not going to be a busy day-trading system at all). He does not really want anything but cheap

access to trading platform and does not need guidance or charting support (*because he is better than Buffet*).

What say you securities traders ??? ... is there a really cheap way of doing this ???

TYIA !!!

P.S. I have not had an Ameritrade ad or something like that pop up in a while either ?!?!?!

Any of the online brokers would do.  Ameritrade is fine.  Commissions are practically free compared to when I started out almost 50 years ago.  I have bought 50,000 shares at a time on an all or nothing order for $7.
