very informative and spot on....watched the movie "breached" last nite about the spy Robert hansome....wow the fbi came off with the same smug, above it all attitude that the 7 th floor guys have today

He hints around the fact that our main problem is that free market dynamics have been removed from the day to day services.

When you have producers competing for business, accountability becomes irrelevant.  They guy who provides the best service for the best price gets the customers.  The vast majority of government services can be privatized. But of course, this solution takes all the power and profit away from government, and they can't tolerate that.


Healthcare is a little more complex,  but we have a marriage between insurance companies and medical providers.  That vast majority of medical consumers often have little to no idea what they pay for service. Remove that from the equation, and free market dynamics will resolve most of the issues in a matter of years.

The answer to all these complex problems is very simple. The complex solutions will come from the 1,000s of qualified people working on competing for consumer dollars.
