U.S. #corn conditions rise 2 pts to 64% good/excellent but #soybeans are unchanged at 60%. Corn and soybean progress is very similar to a year ago. Spring #wheat harvest at 38% complete is well ahead of average. #Cotton conditions improved but the crop is a bit behind.

U.S. crop conditions for #corn and #soybeans by state. Yes, I tripled checked the Illinois numbers. IL is the biggest soy producer but even with +11 nat'l conditions were unch. New lows for North Dakota in both crops.

think we better take these with a gov grain of salt....corn and beans up 11 points in Illinois....this time of year would be exactly impossible, Maybe they got the covid number confused?

Thanks mcfarm!

That one stuck out for me too.

However, I'm not sure that it's a glitch. The weather is Illinois couldn't have been better recently, especially for the corn and early filling for the corn, where cool temps are the most important by a wide margin(unless there's a drought).
