Holy moly! The results of the Harvard-Harris poll by former Clinton pollster and strategist Mark Penn, conducted June 24-25, with 1,448 registered voters are surprising to me! They suggest that the Trump Administration's  Immigration policy is pretty well within the political mainstream. Immigration appears to be a "problem" that could actually be addressed if the typical partisan bickering and grandstanding (on both sides of the aisle) would be set aside for the greater good of everyone concerned.

That's really a no-brainer, assuming you've watched election results over the last decade or so.

Long time incumbents who have been shown to be weak on immigration are sent home while young upstarts promising a strong stance are sent to D.C.

An argument can be made that it's a big reason Trump is president today. The majority sees illegal immigration as a problem that needs to be fixed.
