There are thousands of US citizens living in the park or on our sidewalks. Many of them veterans!!! They have to beg for food.
ABC also recently told us that some 13,000 children were apprehended while crossing the border illegally. They put them into various facilities… these kids are not living in luxury, but at least they have a roof over their head and something to eat.
Just a few days ago, I saw a video reporting on homeless American children living in parks or tents. There are a lot of them.
How come, they have to beg for food and freeze at night, while kids caught crossing the border illegally are taken care of?

Trump’s wall would have tremendously reduced illegal immigration. Biden’s comments have encouraged this tsunami of illegal immigration.
And it’s still wintery March. Wait till the weather gets warmer… it’s a “humanitarian crisis” now… it will be a total catastrophe later…. all caused by Biden

metmike: So this is Trumps fault for not letting everybody in the past 4 years. If he had just done that, there wouldn't be many people left that wanted to get in.
Now, because of Trump, we have years worth of people that wanted to get in, that were denied..............that are all coming in at the same time.
Hmmmm. I have news for them. There are billions of poor people in the world that would rather live in the US. The ones arrival right now are mostly from Central America of course but since these people have been getting an "open the borders to immigrants at the southern border and take care of them" message from the dems............who are now in charge, there is an unlimited number of people in the world that will want to come here and get free stuff, along with better opportunities than they could ever hope for in their very poor country..............where they have nothing.
When you have nothing and no hope where you are, going to another country that offers hope is extraordinarily attractive.
That's the message of the dems for the past 4 years to the poor people of the world.
I am 100% behind helping the poor and less fortunate even MORE than we currently do......and increasing legal immigration.
What we are seeing right now, however is the recipe for chaos and disaster that causes great harm to some people in order to do good for others.
You need thoughtful policies that help people...... without it doing great harm to others.
Some thing else has surfaced as a possible solution
Biden is considering moving 1000's to your northern border. Now why would he do that. One possible reason is the hope many of these people will cross over into Canada. If we can't catch them and send them back to the USA then they stay. At least we won't be handing out free stuff, so maybe the free stuff will keep most of them in your country. And also, once they get a taste of our ice and snow then a warmer climate which they are accustomed to will look a lot better then ice and snow
Still, it makes you wonder why Biden wants some at your northern border
I suppose Biden can only hope Canada is where they will go
I really don't know what the status is with Canadian immigration Wayne.
It would be pretty cold for some of these people compared to where they came from but not may only be a small consideration.
