Trump called Kamala Harris "a monster".

It's true joj!

Which 1 of these 7 true items below would most people be shocked to find out?

1. The cloudless sky is blue during the day.

2. Rain falls from the clouds

3. The earth revolves around the sun.

4. The freezing point of water is 32 deg. F.

5. Trump called somebody a name.

6. Water is wet

7. CO2 is a beneficial gas which is greening up the planet and we are having a climate optimum.

One of the biggest reasons that I'm here is to enlighten people about the truth regarding things very few know the truth about.

You can tell us every time that Trump calls somebody a name(-:

joj,

I know that you must be a pretty busy guy, so I'll go ahead and do it for you. This is an amazingly long list.

List of nicknames used by Donald Trump

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nicknames_used_by_Donald_Trump

metmike: When it comes to Trump, he uses nicknames for the opposite reason that most people do................not good.

Why do we give nicknames and what does yours say about you?

The habit of giving nicknames has been around a long time and can say a lot about the recipient — or not

https://www.irishexaminer.com/lifestyle/arid-20278739.html

Nicknames have been around as long as people have been talking. !

According to a study by Bellevue University, Nebraska, men give nicknames as a way of being affectionate without compromising masculinity.

“It’s a man’s interpretation of what being friendly is like,” says Prof Cleveland Kent Evans.

‘Friendly’ President George Dubya Bush enjoyed doling out nicknames. Dick Cheney was ‘Big Time’ while Karl Rove was ‘Boy Genius’. The nicknames probably say more about Dubya than their recipients.

Monikers can give someone credibility. Abraham Lincoln was known as ‘Honest Abe’, Garret FitzGerald as ‘Garret The Good’, while Michael Collins was called ’The Big Fellow’ — a nickname still reserved solely for him.

Nicknames can also terrify. Al Capone was ‘Scarface’ and mobster Benny Siegel was called ‘Bugsy’ — the gangster slang for ‘going mental’. Bugsy detested his nickname and spilled blood when it was used.

As metmike already said, Pres Trump is known and criticized for his verbal attacks on his opponents. It’s not surprising to hear him insult Ms Harris.

I personally feel extremely uncomfortable with the thought of a person like Kamala Harris, with her views and her planned agenda, to possibly become POTUS.Yet, I also found Trump’s “monster” comment a bit out of line.

While we are talking about the “words”, and how words matter….

Quite often, people use the word “cult”, when the conversation is about Trump followers.

When I hear the word “cult”, I first think of the Jim Jones Massacre. Calling people a “cult”, a very derogatory term, just because they support an opposing political view, is a bit out of line also, IMHO. For me, a “cult” describes a group of people who follow a person or idea so fanatically that they act abnormally and lose objectivity.

Well, coming to think of it…. the images of Nancy Pelosi and A. Schiff just popped into my mind….

How about the other Trump-haters?

How about all the politicians and the MSM who started the impeachment battle cry, one day after inauguration?  And since then, the never-ending, frantic attempts to remove Trump from office? Could this not be called “abnormal”? Could this not be called an “anti-Trump cult”?

Well, if we do call the followers of the two political parties “cult members”, let’s take a look at what these “cult members”do, when they gather in groups…..

The Trump “cult”…..

a large flotilla of boats in Texas, showing Trump 2020 signs and waving big US flags…. a large caravan of cars, showing Trump signs and waving large flags.

The anti-Trump “cult”….

No such parades for Biden.... but we see mobs burning cars, stealing TVs from stores they had broken into, Molotov cocktails thrown at police and into stores, mayhem and destruction. And the founders of the BLM movement have openly admitted that their goal is not to achieve “racial justice”, but to remove Trump from office.

You might say “now wait a minute… BLM people are not the majority of Biden/Harris voters… these groups are “fringe” groups.

Well, not really…. they are not really “fringe groups”. Their riots are a daily event across the USA. Combining the BLM movement with the fascist Antifa group has created a formidable movement, a movement that focuses on chaos, destruction and anarchy…. an organization Mussolini, the original “fascist”, would be envious of.

Furthermore, and more importantly, Kamala Harris, possibly a future POTUS, has publicly encouraged these riots, and she was instrumental in raising money to get the arrested looters quickly out of jail. In other words, the looters and rioters are an integral part of her election campaign...  an integral part of the anti-Trump “cult”.

So, now we citizens have to decide which “cult” to vote for…. the “cult” waving US flags, or the one throwing Molotov cocktails?

Thanks Gunter!

I have to repeat my wife's comment from over a month ago.

When she came home from work, after around a 25 mile drive here in this mostly rural community with a lot of Trump supporters, she said:

"I saw a lot Biden signs on peoples front lawns driving home but no Trump signs. I'll bet people are afraid to put up a Trump sign the way the world is. I also saw even more American Flags and those are all Trump supporters."

When I use the term cult followers, I acknowledge that not all the Trump supporters are in a cult.  Some like low taxes, low (or zero) regulations.  Some like other issues.  But 30-35% of his support would follow him even if he murdered someone in broad daylight.  (Trump said that, not me).  That is a cult following.  He's a liar and 30-35% of his supporters believe him over all sources (even their own family members).  That is a cult following in my view.

But speaking of words matter:

"LIBERATE MICHIGAN!" - Trump

Not too hard to connect the dots to the thugs who conspired to kidnap the governor of Michigan.

It's not just "Trump says mean things" as some on this site have suggested...  It's incitement.  Yet another criminal behavior of our president.

joj, I always knew that you only referred to a group of hard-line followers.

By the same token, most Biden voters are not looters and anarchists.

There is also no doubt that many of Trump's comments should have never been made. Even "Trumpsters" agree with this.

But then.... how about a vice-presidential candidate encouraging rioting? Doesn't this bring the extremists (the anarchists and criminals) right into her election campaign?

I can never accept that a phrase like "Liberate Michigan" inspired a kidnapping attempt that had been in planning for months before the phrase was uttered by people who also hated Trump.

But then,  I'm also one of those people who has a hard time blaming Trump for riots, (identical to ones that occurred long before Trump took office), by left wing rioters in left wing towns where left wing mayors ordered police to stand down and refused help from Trump when offered.

Guess that makes me a cult member.

wow, what is it with the libs and projection? How many times have we caught libs over and over accusing others  of what they are guilty of doing. So now comes joj and murder. Has Donald Trump committed murder? Well lets see, no would be the answer. Joj seems to be a lib and one would assume a huge Clintonite. On the other hand, there have been multiple cases of strange deaths {maybe even murder} following the clinton's for decades. And then tell us again who is doing what joj.

By the way more evidence came out yesterday in the FBI cross fire hurricane mess. Guess what, more documentation on just how Hil colluded with Russians and nearly completed the coup against Trump. And who gets accused with more projection? Why Trump of course.

Harris supported/encouraged rioting?  Come on.  Doctored videos and other right wing lies.  The opposite is true that she condemned the rioters.

Factcheck:

"We must always defend peaceful protest and peaceful protesters," she said. "We should not confuse them with those looting and committing acts of violence, including the shooter who was arrested for murder."

"Make no mistake, we will not let these vigilantes and extremists derail the path to justice," she added.

I guess bailing our protesters and rioters and assorted criminals including child molesters is just a form of tough love.   Yeah,  she's tough on these folks.

"It's going to continue, and it should continue".      Do all words matter?  Guess not.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bail-fund-backed-by-kamala-harris-and-biden-staffers-bailed-out-alleged-child-abuser

A bail fund promoted by Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris and many staffers on Joe Biden's campaign helped release an accused child abuser, documents obtained by Fox News indicate.

Timothy Wayne Columbus, a 36-year-old-man, is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly penetrating a girl in 2015 when she was about 8 years old. A warrant was issued for his arrest on June 25. But he was later bailed out of jail and according to a court document, filed to have his bail money returned to Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF), the organization Harris and many Biden staffers asked their followers to donate to during the rioting in Minneapolis earlier this year.

Fox News?  Could you at least site the WSJ, Barrons or something somewhere in the ball park of truth?  The fund is for bailing out protesters, not criminals.  Or do you think peaceful protestors are criminals?  (you seemed to lump them together).   I recommend that you go back and read the 1st amendment?

I would say the child molester was certainly a criminal.    And "Protesters" don't need to be bailed out because protesting is not illegal.  Obviously,  they were doing something along the lines of what we're being told is "Mostly Peaceful Protesting" with a back drop of burning cars and buildings and riots and assaults.

BTW,  discrediting the source instead of the content is getting tiresome.   I can find a few dozen other sources if you like.

AP FACT CHECK: Dems claim Trump inspired El Paso killings

metmike: There are dozens of other ones and this is just the latest absurd one that can be debunked quickly with the facts:

Newsweek Fact check: Liberate Michigan comment

"The FBI has provided no evidence that the arrested men were inspired by Trump."

https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-liberate-michigan-tweet-plot-kidnap-gretchen-whitmer-governor-1537719

"On April 17, Trump tweeted: "LIBERATE MICHIGAN!" as part of a series of tweets appearing to attack lockdown measures aimed at containing the coronavirus outbreak. In the same month, protesters opposed to the lockdown entered the Michigan Senate Gallery and demanded access to the House Chambers. Some were armed.

On May 1, Trump wrote, "The Governor of Michigan should give a little, and put out the fire. These are very good people, but they are angry. They want their lives back again, safely! See them, talk to them, make a deal."

The tweets have resurfaced in the wake of the arrests.

The FBI charging document said "[s]everal members talked about murdering 'tyrants' or 'taking' a sitting governor" and they discussed overthrowing state governments "that they believed were violating the U.S. Constitution." However, the sworn affidavit does not link the militia members to Trump.

The Michigan Supreme Court ruled last week that Whitmer's emergency executive orders were unconstitutional. The court said that statewide rules on fighting COVID-19 must be approved by the Republican-led legislatur.

Trump strongly denied he had encouraged actions of the kind outlined in the FBI charging document. He took to Twitter to criticize Whitmer and Biden, while disavowing violence.

"My Justice Department and Federal Law Enforcement announced today that they foiled a dangerous plot against the Governor of Michigan. Rather than say thank you, she calls me a White Supremacist—while Biden and Democrats refuse to condemn Antifa, Anarchists, Looters and Mobs that burn down Democrat run cities," he said.

"I do not tolerate ANY extreme violence. Defending ALL Americans, even those who oppose and attack me, is what I will always do as your President! Governor Whitmer—open up your state, open up your schools, and open up your churches!"

metmike: So President Trump said the complete opposite of what one side is claiming(CNN was using this fake narrative reporting to replace the Supreme Court Hearings).

So fake narrative =headline news

Supreme Court Justice nomination = not as important.

What gets me is that this side has so much real/legit news they can bash Trump with but they continually resort to yellow journalism and deceit to mislead people.............which makes them no better and even worse at times than the person they are attacking.

Hate does this to people.

Showing facts and the truth is the opposite of being in a cult. A cult relies mostly on faith. NOT believing in the facts and truth after having the opportunity to see it above, is using cognitive bias to interpret information on the subject.

The governor of Michigan has insisted that she is applying the science with her extreme lock downs and like most others in her position, insisting  that President Trump has been anti science in not having a position that includes more severe lock downs like the ones they have been imposing.

After months of this political battle between Trump and the dems/MSM that included harsh words for each other.......then, this came out earlier this week.

WHO warns against COVID-19 lockdowns due to economic damage

https://nypost.com/2020/10/11/who-warns-against-covid-19-lockdowns-due-to-economic-damage/

metmike: Anybody living on planet earth knows that President Trump has been saying that for 6 months.

So instead of using his real words on the lockdowns for 6 months, that NOW, 6 months later are defining the NEW science position of WHO(which they have vehemently opposed), they instead are trying to make it look like "LIBERATE MICHIGAN" was a secret code between President Trump and some extremists that encouraged criminal acts/kidnapping the governor.

Even though his words after that, make it crystal clear that he is exactly against this behavior.

Is President Trump a poor communicator?

Yes, the worst in history.

This is constantly being used to twist the meaning of his words, even after he clarifies what he meant. Even when his clarification makes complete sense and shows there was nothing nafarious in his initial statement, the press totally ignores it and uses THEIR definition of what the president really meant to say to manufacture a false narrative to smear him.

Even if you are a never Trumper, there is no way you can't see this repeating pattern if you have a few objective brain cells.

Again, they hate President Trump more than they cherish objective, professional journalism and the truth.

CNN proves this all day long, every day.

Tim,

The comment about Fox was not my main refutation of your post, although it is bogus to call them a news organization.

The refutation was of the doctored videos and they are REALLY tiresome.  I haven't the time to fact check all the "inaccuracies" on Fox News or MF.

Mike,

Come on.  "Truth"???  "Facts"???

You yourself said Trump is the biggest liar of any president yet.  (cult fits pretty well)

Why do you twist yourself into pretzels defending him?  His lying about the pandemic cost tens of thousands of lives.  His unwillingness to embrace mask wearing with a strong voice of leadership (he actually is STILL mocking mask wearers) cost still more lives.

Perhaps I'll visit MF on November 4th to read about how the election was rigged or how the media made people vote for Biden?  Remember when you said that the Russian bots who posted millions of lies on FB didn't influence voters in 2016?

Save yourself some time and don't respond.  I'm not angry or even exasperated.  I just don't have time enough for your lengthy posts.

Cheers!

Authentic facts are authentic facts joj and they represent the truth which is all I care about.

As you noted, I’ve stated that President Trump lies all the time and I’ve been critical of his huge character flaws over a dozen times here.

But you brought up a lie ABOUT him in this thread and a recent thread, so I’m just defending the truth with authentic facts and examples of this being chronically displayed by one side.

It’s clear that you can’t refute anything stated in those previous posts, so why not just agree with those truths and since we both agree that he lies a lot, then we could be in solid agreement?

What would be so bad about that joj?

It doesn’t always have to be you against people that don’t hate Trump.

You are always welcome here with all of your opinions. I especially like opinions that are different than the majority or mine.

Threatening to not come back or not read my posts because they are too long, because they disagree with something you stated is not exactly giving credibility to your positions.

It’s very counterproductive for you to  mischaracterize me/MarketForum by claiming that we will claim Trumps loss was from the election being rigged and that I even commented on the Russian bots.

Sounds more like you are the one still contesting the 2016 election that your candidate lost and now, are imposing your position on me/us.

I’ve made it crystal clear that I think Trump will lose and that he will be replaced without this Constitutional crisis that you once were concerned over from him refusing to acknowledge the results.

If the results show a clear loss, zero republicans will supprt him if he does not have the requirements needed for recounts in numerous states.

When that happens, Biden takes over just like every other president in history.

What’s he going to do?

Lock himself in the White House and refuse to leave?

This is just another dem/MSN tactic to scare us about Trump because he would not state that he will accept the results.

He has no choice and can’t do anything to stop it unless  several states are very close and a recount could flip it to Trump.

Biden will do the exact same thing if he loses and can LEGALLY ask for a recount in states that can make a difference.

Recounts almost never overturn elections, however and I highly doubt that will happen this time.

I suspect, that if/when Trump loses, he will likely blame items other than himself.......like Hillary has been doing for 4 years.

If that happens, I will not be defending him.

I only defend the truth.

For normal people, this whole covid thingy is quite confusing.

Earlier this year, Dr Fauci, the nation’s #1 corona expert, said that masks are useless. Recently, he has changed his mind.

So, if a #1 corona expert didn’t know what to do, earlier this year, how can you blame a man who is basically a real estate developer, for not knowing what to do in February?

If I remember correctly, Trump wanted to close the borders for travelers from China, at the very beginning, and he was accused of being a racist and damaging international trade.

How many lost lives are to blame on Trump???

Oh, I forgot… Joe Biden said, if he had been in charge, not a single person in the US would have died of Covid19.. and that’s some 200 million American lives saved, according to his math.

What if the impeachment efforts had been successful, and Pelosi would have been our president? Late February, she invited everybody to Chinatown, to mingle and have a good time, without masks and distancing. How would our death toll look with her in charge?

By the way…. Here are some 7000 doctors who tell us to end the lockdowns

https://principia-scientific.com/over-7000-scientists-doctors-call-for-end-to-the-lockdowns/

lockdowns kill more people than the virus. Isn’t this what Trump wanted all along. How many lives would have been saved, had we followed his advice?

Oh… I forgot Sweden… no lockdowns, no masks, they only asked sick people to isolate themselves…. and they are doing better than the US.

In stead of blaming Trump for everthing, why not admit that at the beginning nobody knew what to do, not even Dr Fauci.

Only one thing is clear.... the damage done by the politically motivated lockdowns is almost irreparable... and Trump has been trying to end the lockdowns, or at least reduce them, for quite some time, ...and his opponents have done their best to fight him.... costing all of us dearly

Some great points on the lockdowns Gunter.

On the wearing of masks and social distancing, after getting it wrong in the very beginning, it’s been crystal clear for numerous months what the benefits for applying them are.

Joj has been right on the money regarding masks and social distancing for most of that time.

JOJ,  are you denying Kamala and Biden support group(s) that bail out rioters?.  I know you call them peaceful protesters,  but peaceful protestors don't need bailing out.  Worst case,  they are held for a moment and released.
