I guess, you could call the MSM the enemy of truth, the enemy of the People.
One thing that struck me about the people protesting in this Portland video is the amount of people NOT wearing masks!
The OR rate of COVID has gone from around 50 before the protests to over 300, a 6+ fold increase. Today's number, if its correct is close to 1,000 new cases........20 times what the rate was before the protests..........and its mostly protest aged people that are new positives.
Probably this is an outlier spike higher but there is no mistaking the increase in COVID the last 2 months.
We need to stop pretending that there is no evidence that the protests are spreading COVID. Whether its responsible for half of the new cases(in many settings) or something less than that, it's a huge number.
One problem is that coming out against peaceful protesting, in this highly charged political environment could be very harmful to your reputation/career. Nobody dares say anything against peaceful protesting. Suggesting that protesting is spreading COVID and must end would immediately make you a target by some people.....that needs to be destroyed ASAP. By the time everybody else realizes that you were right, your career and reputation could be obliterated.
