This one seems a bit hard to believe Gunter...........that none of the other doctors would see this.

Gunter,

This one is no longer hard to believe.  You were just early in reporting it.

There is increasing evidence that ventilators are hurting and even killing patients with COVID-19.

Some Doctors Moving Away From Ventilators for Virus Patients, Citing Death Rate

But some health professionals have wondered whether ventilators might actually make matters worse in certain patients, perhaps by igniting or worsening a harmful immune system reaction.

Grad Student Builds Ventilator Using Home Depot Supplies

UCLA Biodesign Fellow Glen Meyerowitz built the device in a few hours and is hoping it can serve as a proof-of-concept for a low-cost ventilator that could help hospitals...

That's speculation. But experts do say ventilators can be damaging to a patient over time, as high-pressure oxygen is forced into the tiny air sacs in a patient's lungs.

"We know that mechanical ventilation is not benign," said Dr. Eddy Fan, an expert on respiratory treatment at Toronto General Hospital. "One of the most important findings in the last few decades is that medical ventilation can worsen lung injury — so we have to be careful how we use it."

The dangers can be eased by limiting the amount of pressure and the size of breaths delivered by the machine, Fan said.

But some doctors say they're trying to keep patients off ventilators as long as possible, and turning to other techniques instead.

It looks likely that ventilators are killing many more people than saving lives.

They are doing more damage to the lungs from the pressure to force oxygen in and its THAT damage that is killing some patients.

The protocol calls for going on a ventilator when O2 drops below a certain level. Some of these patients are not struggling breathing as you would expect but go on ventilators.

Typically, gasping for air and struggling to breath go hand and hand with extremely low O2 levels and only a ventilator can save your life philosophy by the medical community.................but not with this virus......because its different.

SOME people have the very low O2 readings that would dictate the need to ventilate but they are talking normal and not gasping for air. This must mean that their brains are getting enough O2, regardless of what the pulsox reading is saying because its not hooked up to their brains.

I think if these people are not suffering cognitive function losses and if their bodies are not gasping for air(telling us they need more O2), considering the very high death rate and lung damage of being on a ventilator, those patients SHOULD NOT be put on a ventilator.

Just feed them 100% O2 thru a tube that they can breathe in on their own to do everything possible to elevate their O2 without the ventilator forcing in air and doing the breathing for them.

Read the comments after this  article. These are people in the field that understand whats going on.
