According to the US Energy Information Administration, federal subsidies for renewables comprise 42-52% of all money spent by Fed. Gov to support energy sector: https://eia.gov/analysis/requests/subsidy/pdf/subsidy.pdf

Coal & Gas only take 8-14% of subsidies. Do think renewables could survive without subsidies?
