According to the dictionary’s data, usage of “climate emergency” soared 10,796%."
metmike: This is exactly what I've been telling you is going on. Controlling the language to brainwash the people into thinking the current climate optimum(based on all authentic science-until now) is a climate crisis/emergency.

Over 250 news outlets and journalists partnered with Columbia University School of Journalism’s flagship magazine to shape control of “climate crisis” coverage in the lead up to the United Nations climate conference. The coverage-coordination initiative included directing how much time, space and prominence should be devoted to the coverage, and asking that climate “news” be added to seemingly unrelated stories.

That is how you get complete control of the messages, using false narratives and fake news and half truths to propagandize the people………who are relenentlessly bombarded with the exact same stuff and accept it because the gate keepers have established a cult like environment with them as the high priests who don’t report objective news any more but instead impose their belief system, abusing their reedoms of the press.

Your average person thinks they are informed and too smart to let this happen. After all, the information they trust is endorsed by 97% of climate scientists. What they have no idea about is that convincing sounding information IS the propoganda being sold with a clever “save the planet” altruistic marketing scheme.
How would they know the difference if they are only told one thing?
If I raised a child and taught them from a young age that the animal we call a dog, was really called a cat and what we call a cat is really a dog and didn’t let them have access to the real world, how would they know it was the other way around?
The gatekeepers of the climate crisis/emergency messages/information/propaganda are intentionally denying us access to information in the real world that would inform us to a state which is capable of questioning their brainwash.

As an objective, independent atmospheric scientist, I've analyzed weather and climate patterns for 37 years(trading commodities based on this).
I have all the data(that they won't show you) and share it freely.
They use scary words like "crisis" and "emergency" and tell you its the end of the world in 12 years if we don't do what they say. They base it all on speculative computer model simulations going out 100 years that have been wrong so far(because they are using the wrong equations)
I show you the data, facts and real world observations.
I also have integrity and tell the truth based on facts/science(always) vs trying to manipulate people to act and think a certain way for self serving interests(in politics).
Sadly, I am no match for the forces that use deception and lies to perpetrate this hoax(climate change is REAL but its benefits greatly outweigh the negatives).
But maybe a few people can be enlightened.

There are numerous, profoundly negative elements relate to this.
1. The purpose has become to scare the heck out of people to get them to act. Seriously, if you believed that there was a chance that in less than 12 years, the world and life on it would be facing an apocolypse how would you not be petrified? The only way that you don't worry over that is if you don't believe them because that's what they are selling.
There are tens of millions of people that have measurable anxiety over this and millions where it effects the quality of enjoyment of their lives. Many of them are children that are being taught they might not have an adult life because we are destroying the planet and after 2030, it's over.
2. As somebody that teaches chess and other lessons to our young people and tries to impart authentic information, sharing with others here(whether its weather, climate, trading, history, science or something else) to make them smarter, its an outrage that we have those who are doing the exact opposite. Teaching junk science to propagandise a fake climate emergency and making everybody that falls for it DUMBER.
3. Then there is the objective. Self serving interests that reap massive benefits(100's of trillions in the next decade if maximized) Governments get control and carbon tax revenue. Scientists get unlimited funding. The Climate Accord will do nothing to affect the climate. It is entirely a plan for global socialism where the rich countries give up there stuff to the poor countries. That is it. In the US, it also serves to help to bring socialism and as fairy tale plans like the Green New Deal are entirely based on "saveing the planet" from the fake climate emergency.
But their plan is working. Trump being president has only slowed things down temporarily. You can see the monumental resistance. When Trump is gone, things will rapidly accelerate in this direction.
There is no stopping it. The train has left the station.

metmike: It seems clear that these people are sincere and hope to have a positive impact but so sad that their understanding of science has been so distorted as to have no clue that they are protesting the best weather and climate in over 1,000 years.
They are being used because they don't understand climate science.
Instead of them being completely counterproductive (by trying to change something that is irrefutably good based on authentic science) they could be using this time and energy to help other human beings that are less fortunate or to protest real pollution.
Pursue a legit cause to make the world a better place.
All this time, money/resources and effort and what exactly has it accomplished over the last 3 decades?
And proposed future actions, are all detrimental to the human condition with zero effects on climate. They are oblivious of this fact.
