Why is Biden and son not also being investigated for alleged corruption Re: the threat to not agree to the 1 billion to Ukraine unless the current prosecutor was not fired as he was investigating the Biden's connection with the board position on that gas Co. The whole world knows something happened. Was it perfectly normal WH action or not??
Did Biden use his position to threaten Ukraine as Biden son was reported to have received over 3 billion. Not a small amount and I think would quailify to be investigated as a quid pro quo
The second question is? Was Obama aware of what Joe Bidden did to the Ukraine gov't re: the 1 billion and firing of the prosecutor or did Biden act on his own? This is all on tape, thus Obama had to know either before or after. Was Obama a party to the threat to Ukraine re: the 1 billion. Did Obama agree that Biden's son would be a part of Ukraine gas Co. with no experience, thus one wonders why he was qualified to be a board member and back to Obama giving his blessing to the agreement of Biden's son position and the sort of 2nd person, close relationship to the WH

The DOJ seems to be slow walking their investigation. Makes one wonder who has Trumps back or is he fighting a just battle all by himself
Looking in from outside your country, it looks to me as if the Dems have the public hearings looking like a 3rd world kangaroo court, and only after one day of public hearings.
Is the left perfectly happy to look like 3rd world actors while the whole world looks on.
This is a country that professes to be a beacon of justice and freedom for all, but instead, makes a mockery of equal justice for all.

Thanks for the profound thoughts Wayne, especially since you have no skin in the game.
When you are in the middle of something for so long.......and it surrounds you for years and years, even extreme situations of whatever.........poverty, abuse, corruption, war, it starts seeming like "just normal" and you loose your ability to see it objectively or compared to how it should be.
This is also true with peace and prosperity.........where it causes us to take these wonderful things for granted.
But in this case, an objective observer can clearly see that the US is one of the most corrupt political systems in the world. If you don't think so, then you are trapped with a mind set which has accepted it as normal.
Take health care and drug costs. We have accepted paying more than 3 times more for drugs than any other country because our politicians and FDA take bribes(sometimes legal with lobby money).
This corruption is collapsing our health care system and the politicians know its not really the insurance but won't fix it or even tell us the real reasons because it would mean their lobby money and personal enrichment opportunities would dry up.
The corrupt system is set up to enrich our politicians, swamp and deep state. Anybody that would threaten that has to go.
On Trump, we just spent 35 million and 2.5 years on the "get Trump" Mueller investigation. Again, anybody that thinks it was for anything else, is trapped with thinking this sort of thing is normal.
It actually showed him innocent and backfired with a debacle, getting worse and worse after the results were released. So what is the response? One side just goes on to the next "witch hunt" suffering ZERO responsibility for being completely wrong for yearson the last one..............and the American people go along as if this is just normal.
The new normal in the United States is corruption.
I should acknowledge that Trump is very divisive, mean, is constantly wrong with facts and has massive character flaws but he is fixing alot of wrongs and doing a tremendous amount for agenda that is in the best interest of all Americans...........again, if you can't see that, your mind has been captured.
Corrupt societies can use those bad things about Trump to destroy him. Take away his rights. Hate him. Like a mob mentality. The progressive activists that work at the MSM are using it for their political agenda. The swamp/deep state and politicians, even(even many republicans) want him out because he is not playing the game which is set up to enrich them at the expense of the American people.
In a just society country that treated every body fairly, the treatment of President Trump would not be tolerated............nothing like it.
The United States of America is not one of those countries. If you disagree, then you probably think that this sort of "justice" is normal.
Trump has a well deserved reputation for embarrassing the US in foreign affairs because he lacks tact, uses crude langauge and is a nationalist, not a globalist, who puts the US first.
But Trump is just 1 person. He is the most powerful of course and that counts alot but the rest of the world realizes he is an abberation........Americans are mostly reasonable people that they can get along with. We elected a guy with a major character flaw battling for America.
However, the actual political system as represented by the politicians running these hearings. What the DOJ and deep state has done, including the embarrassing results and interpretation of the Mueller reports IS the United States.
This is not 1 or 2 or 10 or even 100 people that have managed to get control of our system. It is the system. It defines us. Not just Trump but with all lobby money, healthcare and wars in the Middle East based on bs propoganda.

Considering our position as a world power, the US is one of the most corrupt countries in the world and with the most influence.
We condemn Russia for interference in the 2016 election. The US has had the most influence on foreign political interests by any country by a extremely wide margin. We go in with events like the Iraq war or farther back, the Vietnam war that end up being atrocities(dumping 10 million barrels of agent orange for a decade) to kill their crops and.............and then escape accountability for decades.

Ask the millions of people in Vietnam(and US soldiers), some who's land has still not recovered, and ,millions with health issues/birth defects if they think the US government is honest and fair.
Or the millions that lost their son, husband or father(from both sides) over the decades fighting in these dumb, counter productive wars?

Those who controlled the system/decisions back then, have been replaced by other people but the mindset if the same. This is a massive, political chess game and people are just pawns that need to be sacrificed to accomplish the objectives. Even the president needs to be sacrificed.

Politicians just make stuff up, like the climate crisis and end of the world in 12 years if we don't do what they say under a fairy tale Green New Deal that any person who understands 1 iota about energy, knows they are totally blowing smoke and completely making stuff up.
Anything to get elected to jobs that give them tremendous power and usually ends up with them being wealthy..........as they enrich themselves with self serving interests taking bribes and lobby money at the expense of the American people.
Then they send our children, husbands and fathers to go fight dumb wars on the other side of the planet and get killed, while spending trillions in our tax dollars and have the people in the land we died in hate our guts.
