It has been evident most of you MF folks follow Canadian news.

Well:

For those of you who already know, this is old news

Canada has just signed an agreeement to ship hog and beef products to china

This agrement was signed today and exports ar expected to start within one week

I always knew that china would never do a deal with the USA. Others were so hopeful.

U.S. #beef exports in September totaled 109,801 tonnes, the second highest Sept volume on record behind 2018. 

YTD (Jan-Sep) exports were 991kt, down 2% from last year's record, but the second highest ever.

Total U.S. #pork exports in Sept. reached 202,246 tonnes, easily record high for the month but the smallest volume since February. 

YTD exports (Jan-Sep) were 1.9 mmt, topping last year's record by 5%. 

YTD to #Mexico total 530kt, down 10% YOY but 3rd largest ever for the period.

U.S. #pork exports to #China in September totaled 44,185 tonnes, the smallest in 3 months but record for the month.

 YTD exports to China hit 339k tonnes in Sept, up 89% on the year and already 54% larger than in all of 2018.
