So she has identified a new target to blame for the crisis........the actual border patrol agents because they support Trump.
As imperfect human beings, there is no doubt that some of those 9,500 agents probably made some crude jokes but can any one of us imagine how horrible theirs jobs must be? For her to target and stereotype the entire group of these hard working men and women facing enormous challenges..... for her selfish political gain is despicable.
BTW, she was one of the ones that tried to convince the House to not vote to pass the bill to get the funding needed to manage the Southern border, which included helping these people............and children because it was a bill that came from the Senate(passing 84-8) and one that Trump said he would sign.

The funding is urgently needed to prevent the humanitarian emergency on the U.S.-Mexico border from worsening. The government had warned that money would run out in a matter of days.
The Senate bill passed Wednesday by an 84-8 vote, with Democrats there pleased with the deal they cut with Republicans controlling the chamber.
metmike: So if AOC had her way, money to help the children she pretends to care so much about would have run out and the major crisis, would have spiraled even more out of control, and would have hurt those children the most.
Based on her actions, I think that she wants the crisis to continue so that she can maximize it for political gain.

One can speculate that this trip to the southern border today by AOC was just another part of her scheme to twist the narrative back in her favor.
You see, last month Trump made some progress by getting Mexico to help us with the crisis, very much against attempts by some to block Mexico from helping us.
Then, the bill passed last week that will spend $4.6 billion to help at the border, including helping the children.
Both those 2 items above will help tremendously. She was extremely vocal in being against both of them.
She NEEDS this crisis for political gain. Every action that she takes tells us that. Trump making progress to manage it, required some damage control on her part....and so we got the visit down to the border from her today, while she went berserk launching attacks at the border patrol workers.
Now her new angle is that the border patrol, instead of doing their jobs trying to manage the crisis(one of the toughest jobs), according to her, are actually a bunch of racist, sexist, xenophone, dangerous, violent people that are abusing the children.
and now comes another drama queen Beto himself, campaigning down in Mexico. MM, you will love this. He says America must let any human who wants cross the boarder freely? Why you ask? Well its simple America us causing global warming and creating a social and food epidemic in Central America, so we must be punished for our sins. Adding to her accusations, the border patrol had the audacity to want to take selfies/pictures with her and they laughed while she was there..............but, she felt that her safety was at risk because they were/are dangerous people ....not the illegal immigrants, the border patrol agents.
The facilities do not have sufficient food and water according to her..........but she voted last week against a bill that will help with this..........because it wasn't HER bill. (others finally gained some sanity and the bill passed with a strong bipartisan majority)

I don't think that she is dumb as people claim. I think that she and others are clever and are using a great tactic to accomplish their objectives.
1. The worse the crisis is under Trump, the worse things go for him. Allowing him to manage and fix it, is the worst thing that can happen to those trying to keep him from being re elected. They want and need this crisis and are milking it to the max even more now that Trump is getting control of it.......despite them doing everything they can to make is worse.
2. If you want socialism, you collapse the system we have now. If the system we have now is working, people will not want a change. If you can maximize chaos and put even more stress on completely broken health care, only government stepping in to take control will fix it.
