I have been unable to find stats that show how many of the homeless are illegal aliens. I believe there are a lot of them. Many illegals enter the US, hoping to be in the country of milk and honey, and eventually wind up living in the streets.

If the would-be migrants were shown pictures of our homeless situation, they would possibly think twice about undertaking the difficult journey. Instead, they are being instructed on how to best gain entry by deceiving the immigration authorities, and they are given debit cards to make their trip more comfortable.... somebody is making an effort to harm the US.

As long as born-in-the-US citizens (Including some 15,000 veterans) are homeless, no asylum seeker, and certainly no illegal alien, should receive government assistance.... that's just my opinion.
