1816Indiana becomes the 19th U.S. state.

This is where we live!

1997 – The Kyoto Protocol opens for signature.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Protocol

"The Kyoto Protocol implemented the objective of the UNFCCC to reduce the onset of global warming by reducing greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere to "a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system"

So 2 decades have passed. How have they done?

CO2 continues much higher and we added another 2 decades.........of the best weather and climate for life on this planet since the Medieval Warm Period, 1,000 years ago that was this warm.

Since Kyoto was a failure, they went for the new,  Paris Climate Accord based on agreements in December 2015, which was led by US president Barrack Obama.

After the US withdrew from the Climate Accord under President Trump, President Emmanuel Macron of France has been one of the top leaders, especially with regards to imposing the crushing penalties to the energy sector and economy of his country.

The Climate Accord, can never have a significant affect on the climate. The science is not there. Even if it was, China and India increase CO2 more than all the other cuts combined. The objective is sustainable development.........by slowing down the over consuming developed countries...............like the US and France.

Applying the Climate Accord principles in France..........let's take a look to see how the people like it.

Backing out of the Accord and going the other way(utilizing/maximizing the elements of the previous path to success)............let's take a look at the US economy.

Sorry that I had to use Fox. I couldn't find the story on CNN or other outlets.
