Where do you think the US is on the list?

I will guess the US is somewhere in the low teens. 

I will also guess that Sweden is in the top five.

If you avoid 4 or 5 cities (coincidentally dem strongholds for decades), the US is about the safest place to be.

This is just according to "The World Economic Forum" Sweden is 16th but in the top 20. The US is way down at 84th!

The US fares even worse, lagging behind in 84th, just below Gabon, Algeria and Benin. 

The rankings take into account "the costliness of common crime and violence as well as terrorism, and the extent to which police services can be relied upon to provide protection from crime," the report states.
