Thanks very much, Larry!

This  new threat was overdue and I apologize for letting the previous one go so long. I’ll post the link to that one when back on my computer.

Lets start this one off by stressing how despicable of a war crime it is for the United States to be targeting desalination plants in a desert country that uses them for their vital drinking water supplies  for 90 million people.

This obliterates any false narratives from Donald Trump  about doing this for the Iranian people.

As  if the Iranian people will be dumb enough to blame it on their leadership (“Donald Trump is killing us, bombing  our cities and destroying our drinking water supplies because he cares about us so much”)

That works best  in MAGA world and Military-Industrial-Political complex, fairy tale land.

Neither of which are stealing the intelligence of Iranian citizens, literally living in the real world being decimated by 2 rogue countries ruled by a couple of deranged, anti humanity psychopaths.

Thanks very much for adding the link at the top, Larry.

I'm adding the title too here because several months down the road, when I'm on this topic and trying to find previous research/information that I gather from my investigations, it's easiest to find/use with the titles/dates.

thought your post about the evil Americans bombing the water plants sounded very "crazed leftist crap" so thought I would check. There are 20 or so stories on the net about bombing of plants. And that plant was in Baharan and bombed by Iran. MM what sources other than Iranian lies did you use? If this turn out the way it looks right now you have turned a corner that you will not back from. I await those reliable sources and facts to back up this incredible {as unbelievable} story of yours

United States officials are reportedly concerned that Israeli strikes on Iranian infrastructure could backfire strategically, the first significant disagreement between the two sides during 'Operation Epic Fury' in Iran, a U.S. official, an Israeli official and a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to Axios. Israel launched strikes on 30 Iranian fuel deposits Saturday (March 7) that reportedly went beyond the United States' expectations.

The strikes resulted in rain water saturated with oil covered rooftops and streets, while photos showed large black clouds during the aftermath of the attacks. An advisor to PresidentDonald Trump told Axios that Trump was not in favor of the attack.

"The president doesn't like the attack. He wants to save the oil. He doesn't want to burn it. And it reminds people of higher gas prices," the advisor said.

I’m not sure what to believe here. Mike, mc, or others, any comments?

Thanks, Larry!

I'm still catching up for a few more hours writing the announcements for our schools to announce the results of our chess tournament to recognize individual students.

We had 2 dozen schools playing and 139 students.

I'll try to comment more later:

U.S. Tomahawk Hit Naval Base Beside Iranian School, Video Shows

The evidence contradicts President Trump’s claim that Iran was responsible for a strike at the school that killed 175 people, most of them children.

https://www.nytimes.com/2026/03/08/world/middleeast/iran-minab-school-strike.html?campaign_id=60&emc=edit_na_20260309&instance_id=172189&nl=breaking-news&regi_id=132144013&segment_id=216357&user_id=3a086fdad95a2105a96317cef857687e

newly released video adds to the evidence that an American missile likely hit an Iranian elementary school where 175 people, many of them children, were reported killed. The video, uploaded on Sunday by Iran’s semiofficial Mehr News Agency and verified by The New York Times, shows a Tomahawk cruise missile striking a naval base beside the school in the town of Minab on Feb. 28. The U.S. military is the only force involved in the conflict that uses Tomahawk missiles.

A body of evidence assembled by The Times — including satellite imagery, social media posts and other verified videos — indicates that the Shajarah Tayyebeh elementary school building was severely damaged by a precision strike that occurred at the same time as attacks on the naval base. The base is operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

Asked by a reporter from The Times on Saturday if the United States had bombed the school, President Trump said: “No. In my opinion and based on what I’ve seen, that was done by Iran.” He said, “They’re very inaccurate, as you know, with their munitions.”
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who was standing beside Mr. Trump, said the Pentagon was investigating, “but the only side that targets civilians is Iran.”
