I've stated numerous times that Alex was murdered because he was acting as a Good Samaritan.

That term comes from the Gospel of Luke, chapter 10(25-37).

U.S. Bishops Issue a “Special Message” on Immigration from Plenary Assembly in Baltimore

As the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) gathered for their Fall Plenary Assembly in Baltimore, the bishops issued a Special Message addressing their concern for the evolving situation impacting immigrants in the United States. It marked the first time in twelve years the USCCB invoked this particularly urgent way of speaking as a body of bishops. The last one issued in 2013 was in response to the federal government’s contraceptive mandate.

Note the dozens of united statements from dozens of states in our country giving us the exact same message. These are coming from the most powerful leaders in the Catholic Church. They are all telling us the same thing.

:  ICE murders another innocent US citizen in Minneapolis 1-24-26

                            By metmike - Jan. 27, 2026, 11:24 p.m.

Kyle Rittenhouse was exercising his 2nd Amendment right by carrying a high powered weapon to defend property at a used car lot from being even more damaged by rioters.

He was legitimately threatened and used that weapon to defend himself, killing 2 people and injuring another one.

Alex Pretti, on the other hand was not just threatened, he was getting the crap beat out of him by half a dozen ICE agents. After Alex went to the aid of a woman being attacked by ICE, then he became their target, getting sprayed with mace,  then half a dozen ICE agents beat the crap out of him. Sucker punching, kicking, hitting him in the head with a big metal object.

Alex could have pulled out his gun at any time to defend himself from the vicious, unjustified attack but he showed incredible restraint.

He knew that he had the gun but made a conscious decision NOT to use it, despite the vicious attack on him.

Instead, the ICE agents found the gun, then took it away and only after the weapon was taken from its resting place did ICE agents start firing. And they fired 10 shots AFTER Alex had the weapon (that he chose NOT to use) taken away from its resting place.

And Alex is being attacked for his actions???

(Alex was following the Gospel of Luke and being a Good Samaritan to others around him that were being abused!!!!!)

1. He was a hero for coming out to record the actions of ICE to hold them accountable.

2. He was a hero for coming to the aid of a woman that ICE was attacking.

3. He was a hero for not using the gun to defend himself against ICE agents that were wrongfully beating the heck out of him, after he did absolutely nothing wrong. He could have shot a couple of those agents but choose not to.

What if Alex was a Republican and had pulled out the gun and defended himself by shooting his attackers, what would be the response by R party?

We don't need to speculate because we can look at what they did after Rittenhouse did that.

Instead, Alex showed amazing restrained and likely SAVED THE LIVES of his attackers by NOT pulling out his gun to shoot them in justifiable self defense.

Now the most insane part. Trump and his minions, intentionally manufactured blatant,  despicable lies that described the complete opposite scenario of what happened, with Alex being a bad guy/terrorist there to assassinate ICE agents. ICE agents just doing their jobs and defending themselves from the lethal threat which Alex supposedly caused.

"The parable of the good Samaritan today, speaking out"

From AI:

AI Overview

Understanding the Good Samaritan Parable - Biblical ...
The Parable of the Good Samaritan today calls for radical, action-oriented compassion that transcends social, racial, and political divides, directly challenging indifference and selfishness. It demands that individuals move past excuses—such as being too busy or fear of danger—to actively help, even at personal risk or expense.

Key Modern Applications:

  • Active Engagement vs. Apathy: The parable challenges the "Priest and Levite" mentality of ignoring the suffering, encouraging instead the "Samaritan" approach of stopping and acting.
  • Loving the "Other": It breaks down barriers by requiring care for those outside one's own group, such as immigrants, political enemies, or those with different social status.
  • Radical Self-Sacrifice: The story calls for using personal resources and time to ensure long-term care for others, not just immediate help.
  • Overcoming Excuses: It exposes common excuses for inaction, such as fearing for one's safety, having too much "drama" of one's own, or believing the victim is to blame.

Contextualized Examples:

  • Social Justice:World Vision describes the parable as a roadmap for racial justice, requiring proactive love.
  • Immigration: Cardinal McElroy and icbyte apply the story to the treatment of refugees, opposing inhumane policies.
  • Daily Life: It is a call to recognize hidden, everyday struggles in others and to offer immediate, tangible aid, say the authors at Youtube.

MAGA Jesus Is Not the Real Jesus

Trump is causing incalculable damage to the Christian faith, yet most evangelicals will never break with him.

https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/01/maga-christians-betray-ethics-ice/685679/

Kristi Noem, the secretary of homeland security, has become an evangelist of a certain sort. During her tenure, her department has on multiple occasions released slick social-media recruitment videos in which scripture verses feature prominently.

One video quotes from Isaiah 6:8 (“Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, ‘Whom shall I send and who will go for us?’ I said, ‘Here I am. Send me.’”); another quotes from Proverbs 28:1 (“The wicked flee when no man pursueth; but the righteous are as bold as a lion.”). The most recent DHS video quotes from Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”

What’s striking is less that the federal government is using Bible verses in its promotional videos than that the agency doing the recruiting is Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The videos, set to music, include militaristic images. They show heavily armed agents in tactical gear, weapons drawn, donning masks, looking through night-vision goggles, zip-lining from helicopters, breaking down doors, and conducting nighttime raids.

Wow, taking the bible and completely twisting the meaning to justify doing bad things.

For some in ICE to be suggesting they are doing the work of God and this is what Jesus would do is insane and Sacrilege of the Christian bible!

Here's an AUTHENTIC interpretation that almost all Christians embrace:

“Blessed Are the Meek, for They Will Inherit the Earth“ (Matthew 5:5)

The third beatitude puzzles many people in the workplace, in part because they don’t understand what it means to be meek. Many assume the term means weak, tame, or deficient in courage. But the biblical understanding of meekness is power under control. In the Old Testament, Moses was described as the meekest man on earth (Numbers 12:3, KJV). Jesus described himself as “meek and lowly” (Matt. 11:28-29, KJV), which was consistent with his vigorous action in cleansing the temple (Matt. 21:12-13).

Power under God’s control means two things: (1) refusal to inflate our own self-estimation; and (2) reticence to assert ourselves for ourselves. Paul captures the first aspect perfectly in Romans 12:3. “For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.” Meek people see themselves as servants of God, not thinking more highly of themselves than they ought to think. To be meek is to accept our strengths and limitations for what they truly are, instead of constantly trying to portray ourselves in the best possible light
