heck yes its new worthy. This is so damn typical of our entitled millionaire politicians of today. That pilot is the sheriff up there and there is a good reason he is in charge. So sad that many of our politicians think they are above everything and everyone when they are hired and paid by the taxpayers to be our honest and reputable representatives. Many of them actually hate the tax payers and there behavior only reinforces that belief.

People that drive like this should have their license suspended or taken away. They threaten the lives of others on the road.
I admit to driving way over the speed limit by a large amount for much of my life(not anymore) but when I was doing it, I was focusing 100% of my attention on the road and vehicles around me. ........anticipating surprises (defensive driving) from other vehicles that might misjudge my speed for instance.
On the highway, its often not the speed of the vehicles that is the most dangerous but the DIFFERENCE in speed.
If everybody is going 80 mph, for instance its safer than everybody going 50 mph and they all assume that everybody else is going 50 mph.........but 1 car decides to go 75 mph.

Here’s my view on just this one incident: not newsworthy
1. Because he actually had his seatbelt on as he proved to the pilot. It just wasn’t visible since it was underneath his bulky sweatshirt. What’s the big deal since he showed that he had it on? He was safe.
2. He wasn’t being rude as his demeanor was very quiet, calm, and civil when he showed him he had the belt fastened.
3. This occurred way back in February of 2024! This is not news just based on it being from that far back. Rather than being “news”, this only can qualify as “olds” at best and even that I think is a stretch as he had the belt on!
The three things above are why I feel this is overblown. It’s not saying this because I’m biased due to being a fan of his because I’m actually not. Also, I’m not saying I’d do the same thing, but I’m saying that to me this doesn’t qualify as news of significance.

Here's the thing for me. Fetterman is NOT medically or cognitively(mental health) qualified to hold this position. This incident in the airplane is just another tiny piece of evidence of that.
There is soooooooooooo much more.
One can make the case from my previous post that he shouldn't even be allowed to drive a motor vehicle! Seriously!

After his major stroke in 2022, Fetterman had major brain damage and this has resulted in cognitive issues, including major mental illness.
I have great empathy for people like this and stroke victims but people like this are not qualified to do his job.
I made this clear back in 2022 and his behavior since then vindicates that position(prediction).

Maybe they learned a lesson from covering up Biden's severe cognitive losses? Doubtful. Much more likely they just don't want him anymore because SUDDENLY his party is exposing the truth about him that they have been covering up until the last several months. Exactly at the same time Fetterman changed his political positions.

In 2025, Fetterman, who lost his 2016 Senate bid but was elected in 2022, is a fierce critic of the exact type of politician he himself was a few years ago. He has condemned Democrats who call Trump “fascist”, claiming that the party’s brand has grown toxic. His support for universal healthcare was dropped long ago.
And, despite his belief that one cannot work with crazy, Fetterman is proving to be the Democrat most willing to collaborate with Trump, claiming his colleagues need to stop “freaking out” over the president. It’s a pretty dramatic turnaround for a man whose campaign once sold T-shirts with the slogan “Trump is a jagoff”.
In early January, he became the first Senate Democrat to visit Trump since the election, after praising the then president-elect as a “singular political talent” in an interview with ABC News.
