Joe Biden has the power to pardon Hunter and considering the dozens of situations where we know that Joe has been protecting Hunter using his influence it seems obvious that's what will happen.

Here's why I don't believe a word of that.
1. Joe has lied more times than we can count about never interacting with Hunter regarding to his business. Stating he never even discussed his business...........though we have numerous pictures of Hunter, Joe and business partners and sworn testimony of dozens of telephone calls of business meetings where Joe was dialed up.
2. What other response do you think that Biden would give to this question under these circumstances? "Yes, I'm going to pardon my son because he's innocent"????
That honest response would be telling the justice department and legal entities that are investigating and prosecuting Hunter for crimes..........."you're just wasting your time because I'm going to pardon him in a year on my way out". And it would also be admitting he committed crimes and Joe expects convictions. And it would also be admitting that he uses his powers to protect Hunter. Not gonna happen until the last minute and there's not a dang thing that can be done because pardoning power IS ABSOLUTE!
We know with absolute certainty, based on the repeated examples, that Joe puts his son light years ahead of laws and rules and ethics and truth. So OF COURSE Hunter has a get out of jail(prison) free pass coming his way. Nothing can happen to stop it. This is likely responsible for the insane tactic of defying the legal subpoena to testify before Congress with a publicity stunt that would get almost everybody thrown in jail for. They are using this stunt (to create a false narrative in the public's eye that Hunter did nothing wrong and this is all political) as part of their strategy to justify the pardon that is coming Hunter's way in just over a year.
To continue to repeat:
"Joe Biden did nothing wrong and the Rs are just being political" flies in the fact of ALL the facts........except that in today's age..........the opposite party is the one holding politicians accountable for corruption and crimes.
There's a Mt. Everest sized pile of evidence of wrongdoing by the Biden's!

Another important item here:
Much of this was done while Joe was VICE president. Should he be impeached for things he did BEFORE being elected PRESIDENT???
Certainly, much of the covering up with the lies and obstructions, some that were not legal and clearly were abuse of power occurred while he was president but the main position of the Rs seems to be what he did as VP. This can be used as a defense against impeaching him.
There will be 0 Ds voting for impeachment, so maybe the house can convict him and vote to impeach him but there's a near 0% chance of the Senate impeaching him to remove him from office because they need a 2/3rds majority. The Ds actually have a slight majority in the Senate.
The only way they would do it is to remove him from office and use that as the method to get anybody but Joe Biden running for president in 2024. That is possible but I just can't see double digit Ds voting against Biden to remove him from office under any circumstances in this off the charts politically divisive environment. Especially since those Ds have been repeating that Joe Biden did nothing wrong and this is just the Rs being political.

When Thomas Sowell said that many years ago, he probably could never imagine that this theme would define the majority of realms in politics today.
One side tells the truth, using authentic facts and evidence. The other side lies, using manufactured facts, DISinformation, conspiracy theories, false narratives and slick propaganda campaigns(with the media being all in on-MSM on the left-Fox and far right sources taking the other side) repeated over and over.
The truth does NOT win out in the end most of the time.
The winner is the side that is most effective at exploiting people, telling them what they want to hear/read. The inconvenient truth is NOT what people want to hear! It will lose most of the time when competing against creatively spun, convincing sounding lies that grant people's wishes for getting the news interpreted in a way that confirms their political ideologies.
That last paragraph, defines our political and sometimes even science (fake climate crisis/COVID for instance) world today.
