Our politicians and our media are all focused on controlling the people with disinformation/propaganda by appealing with divisive tribalism, convincing sounding false narratives and rhetoric.
People's opinions today are just products of what they want to believe. They only go to sources that interpret the news so that it always lines up with what they are convinced they know and they never learn anything new.
They perpetually have the same things they think they know repeated over and over so they can be reinforced in their heads, while rejecting everything that contradicts it...........which means everything that they are wrong about.......they stay perpetually wrong about forever.
How sad it is that people are trapped with belief systems that sabotage learning new things.
People are having their intelligence stolen by politicians and media that tell them what to think and tell them what they want to hear/read.
It's at the point of no return because the process is a positive feedback loop that is designed to be such by the gatekeepers stealing our intelligence for their self serving interests.

We can see that 70% of Ds are gullible enough to trust the MSM but only 14% of Rs trust the exact same sources.
Is it because Rs are better at critical thinking and more skeptical of the media bs?
That's not it.
In fact, Rs are MUCH MORE gullible when following their sources, which are the least reliable sources for news, FOX and Trump.

The words in bold would be the quinnessential example of people that have had their intelligence stolen.

Regardless, this proves the point that each side goes only to their sources to have what they want to believe told to them and they believe it because of that.
This would be funny......if it weren't for the fact that its destroying our country and peoples ability to learn new things and get along with people that are different than them.
That makes it extremely tragic!
