John,
Sorry to see Clemson lose such a close/tough game )-:
UGH !
But your Boys !! Wow
Yes, one of the best games in history.
without their Heisman hopeful, best running back in the country, injured Blake forum, I thought they were toast.
only 10 yards total rushing at half time. nobody wins games like that against the number 2 team in the country.
everything came together in the 2nd half. Unbelievable.Edwards had 200+ rushing yards.

The OSU QB, with a great game yesterday could have sealed a spot for the Heisman.
But they lost and he threw 2 interceptions. I think that just killed his Heisman hopes.
Can Blake Corum win the Heisman even with the injury causing him to miss the biggest game ever yesterday?
Regarding Corum. Heisman ballots went out already and I'm not sure how many electors have voted. They announce the finalists next Monday, then the winner on the following Saturday.
Precedent suggests it's very unlikely but when you are going against the best of the best, missing a game and still winning the Heisman would have to mean you were MUCH better than the rest in the rest of your games.
Out of the last 22 winners, 18 were quarterbacks and Corum is in the top 4 this year, with the other 3 being QBs, including the one from USC.

The Heisman Trophy, one of the highest individual awards in American college football, has been awarded 86 times since its creation in 1935, including 85 unique winners and one two-time winner.

However, I would put my money on the USC QB who had a fabulous game yesterday in a big game that allowed USC to move up from #6 to #4 and into the National Championship playoffs.
