There are now 8 billion people on Earth, according to a new U.N. report

In recent years, I've adjusted my position on this issue.

There's just too many people on the planet that require the consumption of massive natural resources(that cause pollution and have to go somewhere after stuff gets used up).

The conversion of natural habitats and tearing up the earth to mine for minerals, like we need for the environmental energy sources from hell...........wind, solar and batteries is the most ANTI green thing we can do.

It's fake environmentalism based on crony capitalism and corrupt political agenda. Biased (junk) science with solutions that will wreck the earth to supposedly save it from a beneficial gas, the building block for all of life, CO2.

The optimal level of CO2 for most life is double the current level. It was this warm several times in the last 4,000 years and 2 deg. C warmer than this in the higher latitudes with less Arctic sea ice from 9,000 to 5,000 year ago(and polar bears did great).

Authentic science didn't call it the Holocene Climate OPTIMUM because it was a climate crisis. They called it that because it was warmer that this and optimal for life!  And that was without the massive benefits of the increasing CO2 currently greening up the planet and providing most creatures with more food.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holocene_climatic_optimum

Of 140 sites across the western Arctic, there is clear evidence for conditions that were warmer than now at 120 sites. At 16 sites for which quantitative estimates have been obtained, local temperatures were on average 1.6±0.8 °C higher during the optimum than now. Northwestern North America reached peak warmth first, from 11,000 to 9,000 years ago, but the Laurentide Ice Sheet still chilled eastern Canada. Northeastern North America experienced peak warming 4,000 years later. Along the Arctic Coastal Plain in Alaska, there are indications of summer temperatures 2–3 °C warmer than now.[9] Research indicates that the Arctic had less sea ice than now.[10]

The real environmental crisis's/insects dying-dead zones-aquifers drying up-plastics in the ocean-landfills/trash-over consumption of natural resources-REAL pollution in the air/soil/water-WIND TURBINES (metmike is a PRACTICING environmentalist): April 2019

8 Billion and Growing: World Population Milestones Throughout History

https://populationconnection.org/blog/world-population-milestones-throughout-history/

Population MilestoneYear Reached
1 Billion1804
2 Billion1927
3 Billion1960
4 Billion1974
5 Billion1987
6 Billion1998
7 Billion2010
8 Billion2022
9 Billion2037
10 Billion2058

Most of the growth around the world occurs in less developed countries—places already struggling to provide for their citizens, especially in the midst of the climate crisis (which has been disproportionately caused by people in high-income countries). In fact, 96% of global population growth since the 7 billion milestone has occurred in less developed countries.

++++++++++++++++

"especially in the midst of the climate crisis"

This is 100% opposite of the truth. The current climate and added, beneficial CO2, along with fossil fuel produced synthetic fertilizers is feeding half the world's population.

If we kept the fossil fuel fertilizer and just went back to the old climate of 100 years ago that was 1 deg. C cooler and had 120 parts per million less CO2, within 3 years, the world population would be down to 7 billion because of widespread famine and starvation. Food prices would more than triple from current levels and only wealthy countries could (barely) afford to eat.

If we additionally, took away all fossil fuels(including fertilizer that's currently feeding the planet and THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTION) it's likely that the world population would drop below 6 billion for the same reason.

Their prediction of 10 billion people, at the same time when other people are saying fossil fuels will be replaced is absurd.

Guess who will be DEAD WRONG?

The ones perpetrating the current climate crisis fraud on humanity.

In 2058, when looking back at our last 3 decades in history, they will be seen as the "dark ages in climate science" when the greatest fraud in human history was perpetrated on mankind as climate science was hijacked...... at the same time that humans were congratulating themselves about being so smart because of the "information age".

The problem is that people in this age have lost their ability to think critically(from an early age it's been conditioned out)  and they just go to all the places that tell them what they want to hear/read.

Did somebody type Bill Gates (-:

Want to hear a rich genius talk blatant, anti science ignorance?  Bill Gates gets an F in science. Radical left has taken over teaching at almost every college. More on brainwashing. AOC and her climate religion cult. They use scary words but no data because the data shows them wrong. I show the data. November 2019
