I believe the answer is 0.

Noticed an article this morning where 6 are running for congress, and their stated goal is to stop Pelosi.

Did a little more digging.  Of 182 miiitary vets,  120 are running as pubs.  About 2-1.

You may form whatever conclusions you like from what I felt was some interesting trivia.

Here are the 182 veterans running for Congress this year (militarytimes.com)

Thanks Tim!

Extremely interesting. Makes sense that somebody that served in the military/veterans would also want to serve in Congress.

Lot's who served have no interest in political careers,  but I suspect those that do will be more likely to take the oath seriously.  The oath a recruit takes on the day he goes active is very similar to the oath of office for Congress and the President.   The recruit is endorsing the oath with his life on the line.
