Hispanic Voters turning to republicans

It will be interesting to watch to see if this demographic continues to shift. It appears to be a groundswell in many areas across the country.

WIll the dems develop a sudden change in their feelings over border control?

This from the LatinoTimes.

The Voters Who Could Turn California Red (latinotimes.org)

At the end of the 2020 election, California’s Republicans had reason to feel hopeful. Although Joe Biden won the state by a landslide, Donald Trump won more votes (6 million) there than any other Republican candidate had ever. Increased Republican turnout led to victories in four competitive House races with large Latino populations. One of those districts even elected the state’s first Republican Latino congressman since 1873.

I think that Trump's vocal support of the Spanish food brand, Goya, I believe, made a big impact on the Hispanic community. An acknowledgement by way of the digestive system! Old saying, the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

Why Democrats Are Losing Ground With Hispanic Voters

https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2021/12/why-democrats-are-losing-ground-with-hispanic-voters.html

"Not Donald Trump" on the November 2020 presidential election ballot that got the most votes........... became JOE BIDEN in January 2021.

The chart above tells us what Americans thought of JOE BIDEN in 2021.

The best move for republicans by an astronomically wide margin would be to totally get rid of the political anchor Donald Trump, forget about the 2020 election(which he continues to ramble on, was stolen from him and half of republicans agree with-which is killing party credibility).

Acknowledge whatever the democrats want to state/find out about the Insurrection(to disarm them because they WANT republicans to battle them on this as much as possible since this is a battle they know they will always win/look good on every time-that's why a big part of dragging it on).

Cooperating on the Insurrection investigation would steal much of their thunder.

Make everything ALL about JOE BIDEN, because the more Donald Trump is connected to anything, the more Joe Biden looks like NOT Donald Trump.

You, personally may have put Donald Trump in the rear view mirror but the Republican party and his loyal flock of tens of millions are not even in the vicinity of being close to doing that.

That is the Kryptonite of the republican party right now!

I will tell you this MM. I do not in any way want Trump to run again but, but but...as badly as Biden has done and as many decisions he has made which are horrid for America I believe by next election no matter how much many dislike his wild behavior Trump wins by a land slide. He gained many blacks last time, next time he will gain blacks and Mexicans and even a suburban housewife can take only so much crap from Biden. And if the R's run someone who runs gov like it should be run and not have Trump's baggage that R will win by a Reagan margin.

mcfarm,

That's exactly the problem. Tens of millions of republicans that think similar to that or that strongly prefer Trump to anybody else.

You really have to be out of touch with the non, far right realities to think that way.

I'll guess the only way that you'll appreciate it is if Trump comes in as the candidate and suddenly NOT Donald Trump returns. ..........the one that was entirely responsible for the outcome of the 2020 election.

You are totally missing it to think that a bunch of NOT Donald Trump's have been converted to Donald Trump since then.

You go to your FOR Donald Trump echo chambers and this defines what you think.

FOR Donald Trump echo chambers were NOT able to win the 2020 election.

You are convinced that NOT Joe Biden will surpass NOT Donald Trump in 2024.

It doesn't work that way with peoplesviews/minds. I learned that in having polls and focus group responses analyzed for me during my TV anchoring years.

People are creatures of habit that usually don't change their views alot, especially about politics but also people.

If they like somebody, they are likely to continue to like that person, no matter what they do......but there's the outside chance that you will offend them, so avoid doing that.

If they are on the fence about you or a topic...........you have a fighting chance to win them over. This is the group you want to target to shift their opinion to favor you.

If they dislike you and especially if its strongly...........you can perform miracles and walk on water but they are likely to always feel that way..........no matter what you do.

If a tv personality acquires a dislike/hate rating that hits a certain level, they are history. There is nothing that you can do to repackage or remake them or convince people that hate them to change their minds. Nothing.

Donald Trump has crossed deeply into the impossible to remake/change minds category for close to half of Americans that would never vote for him, no matter who is on the other side.

We can never say never but the ammo that the left has to remind people of why they hate him so much is unprecedented.

Only people totally oblivious to facts, truth, integrity and evidence about him would vote Donald Trump.

I would probably vote for him if you gave me a million dollars.

Other than that, his negatives far exceeded his positives by an order of magnitude after the election loss and now and it keeps getting worse every time he opens his big mouth to lie.

well after reading a few paragraphs you turned around and said just what I said only in few words. That is the point Biden has OFFENEDED, over and over and over offended. And just this week affirmed he ain't changed messages no matter what. The looney left is in control and puppet Biden is on their string til the end. And please do not ignore the better result. Having a guy who governs like Trump with out Trumps baggage. the one I will vote for.

keep forgetting to add Mike Pompeo as a very good candidate that could also just bury Biden

I don't want Trump to run.  Polls show that more an more agree with me with a few years to go. An eternity in politics.  I want someone with most/all of Trump's goals and objectives, and we have several great candidates.

But if, somehow ,the choice were to come down to Kamala Harris or Donald Trump?

This is the only way that Kamala could win.

No brainer the other way for you though Tim because you are thinking with a mind that only thinks like a republican on every issue.........and disagreement means the other person is not objective.

You really need to see someone about that TDS MM  :-)

FYI, this is another good example of a lack of objectivity.

Did you know there are polls out there, right now, where likely voters favor Trump over  Biden in an election, were it held right now?

What you are really saying above is that you would vote for Kamala before you'd vote for Trump,  but then you take that subjective opinion and apply it to everyone.  Which is actually an exact opposite of objetivity.

Thanks Tim,

You have a very short term and convenient memory Tim.

Did you forget that I voted for Trump?

Maybe trying to overthrow the indisputably proven results of a presidential election using extreme fraud(and still have half the republicans convinced)  are no big deal for you, somebody who claims to be all about the Constitution ...........but will change their views so that the republican in every situation can never do wrong or tell lies......... but I live by OBJECTIVE ethical standards that are more powerful than my political bias/affiliation.

the indisputably proven results of a presidential election

<GUFFAW>   And it continues..

Once again,  they are not indisputable.  Reams of data suggest other.

Speaking of short memories.  We had 4 years of Hillary and the dems insisting that Trump was not elected. Dem reps refusing to certify the results.  And that was during/after hopelessly illegal actions that involved false dossiers and illegal spying and a faux investigation that should have ended before it began and a coupkle of blatantly meta-constitutional "impeachment" attempts. All of this making Watergate look like a choir boy practice.

Anayway....  So, you voted for Trump?   You're still a supporter?  <G>..     No, I get it,   neither am I.  But I have a realistic view of what's going on.   An election today,  Trump would beat Biden.   But we have set the bar so low..  ::SIGH::.   That should not be a possiblillity.  Please stop saying Trump will ensure a pub defeat.  The bar really is that low.  Look at what he'd be running against.  Look at this country now and compare it to one year ago.

Cognitive disonance hurts.   I get it  :-)     But you have to give up on the claims of objectivity.   You simply are not.

You're welcome.  :-)

Tim,

If I were not the moderator and obligated to fact check and  correct false one sided information, with objective data/evidence and science, I seriously wouldn't bother to engage in many of these absurd discussions.

So here we go again......from the moderator.

You are dead wrong, the election results from the 2020 election are indisputable.

You've been challenged to show otherwise and metmike ended up showing 10 times more fraud from previous elections than all you guys put together.

You continue to have speculative and theoretical fraud and ignore the evidence that there was not widespread fraud by democrats in 2020, let alone enough to affect the election results.......... and its been over 1 year.

Regardless of how many times you want to repeat The Big Lie rhetoric, it will always be The BIg Lie.

The message from MarketForum will ALWAYS BE THE OBJECTIVE TRUTH.

You can be part of that or you can get obliterated every time with the facts/truth.

This is just a partial list of some of the debunking that I did in 2021 of the fake fraud from the 2020 election.....with a bit of help a few times and big thanks to WxFollower and joj.

When somebody disagrees with you..........according to you, they are not objective.

Tim, you can claim that I'm anything but objective, to justify ignoring the objective facts, evidence and science.... but all I'm doing is presenting the facts and data most of the time and using the scientific method.

I will always........ALWAYS give great weight to authentic facts and data, no matter where they come from or what party that might be.

I've been asking for yours/others here for authentic data/facts on the 2020 election fraud by the democrats that played a big role in the election and after 14+ months there still is no widespread election fraud by democrats evidence.

The most investigated, most legally challenged, most recounts, most  audits of a presidential election in history. ...but still no widespread fraud by the democrats and amazingly, still the insistence that there was widespread fraud by the democrats..........and instead of showing fraud or facts or data or proof of fraud, the response continues to be that there was fraud but it just hasn't been found yet with enough audits/investigations and metmike is anything but objective for not recognizing the existence of that fraud.

Actually Tim, I spent hundreds of hours, for months after the election to respond and investigate EVERY SINGLE CLAIM that there was fraud.

You got time to read about it below?

It took me 100 times that reading time for me to thoroughly investigate and objectively fact check all of it!

Not complaining because it was a labor of love.........love to learn, love of the truth and a love of sharing it with people that are interested in the truth.

Every time that you challenge me on that truth and insist that I'm anything but objective just presents another wonderful opportunity to make good use of all that work again to apply it to debunk your false statements.

Thank God for the search engine at MarketForum and my memory!

And my mind is wide open in case you suddenly have new evidence to show anything below is wrong.

I showed the results from two audits (The Only Two Thourough auduts) that raised serious questions about the validity of the process and identified many thousands of invalid ballots.  That you chose to acknowledge only that the count was adjusted upward to favor Biden changes none of the facts.  Posting the same data again is pointless as you continue to refuse to accept the results. That democrats are also fighting any reform in spite of the data raises additional questions.

So on that note.....

Have a good day  :-)

"That you chose to acknowledge only that the count was adjusted upward to favor Biden changes none of the facts."

You just keep repeating that false statement,  despite the fact that you should know by now that I hold you accountable for false statements and despite me correcting you on that specific one a couple of times previously.

The power of cognitive bias to create tunnel vision to blind us.....causing us to conveniently remember discussions in a way that confirms what we want to believe. Store  information in our brains in a way that confirms what we think that we know and completely reject information that contradicts what we think that we know.

Tim,

Once again, you are treating this like a winnable debate with you always being right.

I'm analyzing your behavior (as a scientist) to figure out and explain why it exists, while  trying to strictly follow objective data, facts and evidence.

One of us is learning something.

Amazing.   Can't believe you are accusing me of lying. Guess I need to post them again.

The Media Is Lying About the AZ Audit: The True Findings Summarized Here, Exposes They Were Complicit All Along | Right Wire Report

Here is a summary of the hours-long hearing and findings entered into the official record:

  • The Arizona audit shows that 57,734 ballots had very serious issues which the Maricopa election board chose not to comply for resolving.
  • EMS server had deletions.
  • 85,673 election-related files were deleted between 10/28/20 and 11/05/20.
  • 1,064,754 election-related files deleted between 11/01/20 and 03/16/21

That was AZ.  I also posted a 3 hour video of the auditors findings that you claimed to have watched.  I can post it again,

Here is Fulton County.

Tim,

That shows that you don't even go to the links that I give.

What you posted is just a repeat of what I posted every time (including this time) to show the discussions that we had over this previously!

This was the times before at this link:

This was the time before that from that link:

"This is the main reason that I'm for voter ID.

But where was the evidence of the  Big Lie election fraud from Biden trying to steal the election???"

I assume you have not read what I have posted, which is why we keep having the same debate.

But where was the evidence of the  Big Lie election fraud from Biden trying to steal the election???"

The fact that you continue to ask this question proves it.  As I've said, umpteen gazillion times,  there is no proof of a coordinated effort to steal the election.  There is proof of thousands of invalid ballots and vulnerabilities in the system too numerous to count.  These need to be addressed.   But to prove a conspiracy would take an admission of guilt, or a paper trail that is unlikely to exist.

The fact that dems are so vehemently opposed to safegaurding the election process  would make an objective observer suspicious, at the least.

And in spite of listing proof a few dozen times documenting these failures,  you still insist there is no question but that the election results were valid.  I find that positively mind boggling.   But now you attempt to call me a liar over it.  I'm not sure what to call that.

Tim,

Please stop making sheet up to pick fights. I never called you a liar.

I actually did the opposite and attributed your lack of comprehension of the repeated facts and data as likely cognitive bias and made pretty clear which is NOT lying.

https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/80589/#80706

You can use the term liar if that's what you think you're doing but all I know is that there is obviously a big disconnect between you and the authentic data/facts/evidence.

It's seems pretty clearly to be entirely rooted in your faith and religious beliefs in  following far right narratives on every single issue and lack of objectively but only you know if its intentional or not.

I'm just making objective observations.

"you still insist there is no question but that the election results were valid"

OF course I do. If you read the links, you would see clearly that I proved it, with the assistance of WxFollower and joj many dozens of times here beyond a shadow of a doubt and the rest of the world (that is not far right and delusional about the results of who won) proved it thousands of times.

Ignoring the proof dozens of times and repeating:

"you still insist there is no question but that the election results were valid"

"you still insist there is no question but that the election results were valid"

In every thread after i show the massive, indisputable evidence of the proof for you is not a very effecttive rebuttal of the proof.

In fact, it's evidence that you DON'T have any proof of the election results being invalid.

Providing a link and quote to a small part of a discussion to WHAT I ALREADY showed several times was part of an entire  discussion that proved my (and most of the objective thinking worlds) position is the opposite of a rebuttal.

Even your evidence is part of the proof that the election results were valid. You are your own worst enemy on this Tim.

Digging your hole deeper each time is not very productive.,......unless your objective is just to pick fights defending absurd false far right narratives about the results of the VALID 2020 ELECTIONS RESULTS.

Do the republicans have a death wish or what on this? Instead of focusing ENTIRELY on what you have a HUGE advantage on.............the policies of the Biden administration, you spend far more time here arguing over something that will ALWAYS in every instance be a loss for the republicans. The 2020 presidential election.

The democrats are loving this Tim.  Trying to discredit the results by insisting there was foul play by the democrats because your minds can't contemplate the reality of such a big loss by Trump is counterproductive.

When you only go to far right echo chambers that all think and say the same things that you repeat here about the election, that are false, you can all convince each other of whatever you want to believe by going to FOX and Info Wars or other places for you information  but if Trump runs again, you'll see what the COUNTRY really thinks.

Only people fooling themselves would actually think that a guy that lost by 7,000,000 votes last time to NOT Donald Trump will pick up tons of votes from his behavior since that time when running again against NOT Donald Trump.

JOE BIDEN would lose but when he runs against Trump, people see him as NOT Donald Trump. You guys are oblivious to this.

You need to run somebody so the opponent is JOE BIDEN or KAMALA HARRIS or whoever and have them  held accountable for failed policies and not automatically get 50,000,000 NOT Donald Trump votes from the get go......which will be even higher in 2024 if Donald Trump runs.

With regards to 2024.............thats entirely an opinion. I really hope that I don’t get the chance to be proven right or wrong.

I can tell you with absolute certainty, that if trump ran, you would truly see that the number of never trumpers had grown by many millions........including people like me that voted for him the first time.

. Fox continues to treat him like royalty. He was just on hannity again this week.they are close personal friends. I think that republicans will come out in droves to support him and vote for him...and get slaughtered in a landslide in the general election because in 2024, there will be never trump republicans that join the previous never trump voters.

If you think that never Biden votes will greatly overcome that then you are hanging out at too many republican echo chambers.

I watch and listen to the news from every side and don’t engage in wishful or political thinking.

With regards to the results of 2020..............that is entirely based on authentic facts/evidence.......more than in any  presidential election in history by a wide margin.

Please get over it and go on to something productive.
