Ca wants all new cars sold in CA to be EV by 2030

Not to mention they can't keep the electricity flowing, do you suppose CA has given any thought to where the material will come from, to build all the batteries

Do you think a whole lot of money will be wasted on Green energy and then the whole thing will be deemed impossible, for any number of reasons and die a natural death

Southern California has had a shortage of electricity for several months.

However, so far, there have been no “rolling blackouts” in Los Angeles, mainly because temperatures have not been very high. (while new heat records are being made in the Northern areas of the West Coast, LA is expecting a pleasant 81 degrees high today)

No doubt, once the summer kicks in, we will have to worry about not having electricity. The police department has prepared pamphlets about how to be prepared.

California has approx. 15 mill. cars. All of them electric? Unthinkable !!!

Electricity cost in Los Angeles, at this time, is 80% higher than the average cost in the US,.

To be able to communicate with the Market Forum, we will have to figure out how to use smoke signals in the future… although, with all the wildfires, wood will be hard to find.

Good ones!

There is a near 0% chance of the Green New Deal plan working based on the physics, science, energy and financial/cost realities.

NEW: Wind/ solar/batteries: Environmentally UNfriendly, and UNgreen. When will fossil fuels run out? Maybe they aren't all fossil fuels...abiotic oil/gas. May/June 2021 https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/69028/
