Bridge is in danger of collapsing. Bridge is closed. Barges on the river are backed up for miles.

Some say, they may reopen the bridge again... Others say, it will take months to get it fixed.

In the meantime, no barges going down the river

A farm boy with a stick welder and some plate steel would have the barges moving in a day

Might be closed to car/truck traffic but those barges would move

Will this affect exports as the grain has to move by rail and truck

Barges move a heck of a lot to ship  loading

Is that why grain down hard today??

You would think new crop would be able to load out exports, when bridge is repaired

Surely gov't isn't that slow to repair

I seems as if barge traffic is able to navigate under the bridge allowing corn and beans to teach large boats for export
