gold hit a double bottom here over the last month.  it should now try to go back up to 1850.   we'll see if it gets there or dies quickly.  the first 2 weeks of march it should go down again.  

will this be more than a dead cat bounce? 

this decade i am long metals... but currently i still prefer platinum over gold.
