UAH Global Temperature Update for January 2021: +0.12 deg. C (new base period)

The linear warming trend since January, 1979 remains at +0.14 C/decade (+0.12 C/decade over the global-averaged oceans, and +0.18 C/decade over global-averaged land).

metmike: The recent, natural La Nina continued to cool global temperatures. This may last for a few more months. ....then, we will go back to the slow/slight, mostly beneficial warming for life on this greening planet.
