"The company then said that it will “guide” people to “authoritative information” provided by corporate news outlets such as ABC, CBS, NBC, or CNN."
metmike: The only reason to pass this on is because of the quote above.
So we should use CNN for authoritative information about President trump eh?

"Responsible, objective, professional and fair minded journalism has been pushed aside by the progressive activists that dominate the field more and more.
Their objective is to convert as many people as possible to their belief systems.
There still are still many very good journalists in the field and much of the reporting done by the bad journalists is about non political topics, where their personal bias does not come into play.
However, entities like CNN and CNBC on topics like President Trump and the Fake Climate Crisis are quintessential examples of what has gone very wrong. "
Some of my favorite examples:
"Avenatti was interviewed on broadcast and cable news networks 214 times from March to November 2018"

From CNN:
"The former chairman of the Psychiatry Department at Duke University claimed on CNN that President Trump is as bad as the worst dictators of the 20th century, and that his presidency might lead to even more deaths than they did."

Yellow journalism is thriving in the year 2019!
Mike,
Since YouTube is a private company, it is their right to do anything they want just like it is your right as moderator of this private board to delete posts or even ban posters. If people don't like what YouTube is doing, it is their right to boycott it though that might be very difficult for most due to their very wide array of interesting videos.
well except for that dang gone 230 thing hanging over their heads....not to mention our first amendment...if only they would just drop the pretense and say...."yes we are the main arm of the democratic party who we totally support and out bias will be shown daily if you don't stop us you poor little sheep"
Larry,
Thanks. I totally get that which is why I stated this:

Recommending CNN as an objective, authoritative source on issues related to President Trump would be like suggesting Iran as a good source for authoritative information about Israel (-:
The others I'm ok with.
1. Mike, thanks and I agree CNN is not at all an objective source of info on Trump!
2. McFarm, the 1st amendment is not relevant to this since you tube is a private firm.
yes you are correct larry, there is a wide band of libs who fear an actual 2 sided debate...so what do they order in every fashion....sit down and shut up. From higher education to the halls of congress to the our once free air waves
